Absolutely not!!!!!! Except for convicted Violent Sex Offenders. There are way too many government intrusions into our daily life as it is, speed camera’s, school ground camera’s, surveillance camera’s, bank camera’s, bridge crossing camera’s, email monitoring, facebook monitoring, Library checkout monitoring, ect.
Are you willing to give up right to bear arms or right to remain silent? If so, then you have no problem with giving up your other rights and be monitored.
Absolutely not. You have to draw the line somewhere . We're already past that point. They monitor computer communications and cellular communications. They use backscatter vans on highways to look inside your car regardless of you reasonable expectation of privacy. They pat you down at airports without reasonable, articulable suspicion. Representatives of the EPA, MDE, code enforcement all walk upon your property without a warrant and seek out evidence to use against you and the evidence is exempt from the 4th amendment protection. Yes....we are way past the line.
No! Our Constitution says our government exists to serve the citizens of the country, not to control and enslave them. The government has proved overwhelmingly it is totally incompetent. A monitoring program would only lead the country to further ruin.
We really need to reverse the direction the government is leading the country and give it back to the society in which people control their own lives and succeed or fail exclusively due to their own efforts.
There are a lot of bad people in this country. That excludes everyone who reads Salisbury News of course.A population explosion has made some degree of monitoring unavoidable, just as it has caused a need for things like speed and red light cameras. There are just too many people to watch the old fashioned way,and people do bear watching unfortunately.
Someday in the not-too-distant future they'll always know where you are by camera anyway. This is already mostly true in urban areas, and Pocomoke City even has multiple cameras in certain areas. Not necessarily a bad thing, but public privacy will one day be non-existent.
Only if it is going to track all Senators, Congressmen, Governors, Mayors, police personnel, in other words everyone. What is fair for me should be fair for everyone and no one should be exempt.
To all the mindless sheep who need someone to tell them how to live their lives, PLEASE move to China. Just quit trying to give up MY rights, even if you want to surrender yours. The police and the government already have trashed the Constitution and the entire Bill of Rights and you cheer madly like the crowds at some Hitler rally. You don't care if you are stopped to see IF you are a criminal, and don't mind the police strip searching your teenage daughter (a couple of times), don't mind the government using back scatter X-rays to search your car and house, having secret trials and imprisonment of AMERICANS, and on and on and on. Oh no, its okay. When they come to your house to search it, you know, for "possible crimes", without a warrant, you will just let them in, because you're not doing anything wrong...The government is SUPPOSED to SERVE us, not control and monitor us. They have 3/4's of the population convinced that they MUST watch us. Control us. Think for us. For our own good. And most of you sheep smile and say "whatever you say, boss." My grandfather, who saw firsthand what the German government did to it's people, would have a heart attack if he saw what most of you so happily go along with today. And then would slap the skin off your face. And you would deserve it.
No. I agree with Imclain. People need to start taking care of themselves instead of depending on the government to do it for them. Thats what is wrong with this country now.

I agree with what Gerald said.
No. Those willing to sacrifice freedom for security will lose both; and deserve neither.

YES Because I'm a sheep & can't think for myself. I love the idea of big goverment running my life.BAAAAA
no way should this be done. we have too much govt now. thanks sjd
only if we can track them
You do not need a gps. Most cell phones have a gps built in. If you own a cell phone, you are being watched.
And just how many government employees will need to be hired to do this??? I have nothing to hide but I believe this is going to far!
A BIG NO!!!!!

Yes, if you are a convicted of a felony while using a handgun, or a sex offender.
yes , if you are obeying the law , not to worry.
NO! I have nothing to hide either. When was the last time government touched something and it didn't get fouled up?
Monitor the ones on probation and parole if you want to monitor someone.
If not already doing so, the police should be monitored. They have been getting out of hand lately.
