A Cupcake Sellout At 'Inherently Racist' Bake Sale By UC Berkeley Republicans

(CNN) -- A provocative bake sale designed to satirize affirmative action resulted in no fisticuffs Tuesday, but it did prompt a sellout of 300 cupcakes and some heated debate at the University of California at Berkeley, the bake sale organizer said.

"The biggest thing is that no violence broke out. There was no physical situation, which is really great," Berkeley College Republicans President Shawn Lewis said Tuesday afternoon, as the bake sale was nearing an end.

"We sold out of cupcakes, and I think we have some (of the 200) cookies left," Lewis told CNN.

Why does'nt anyone "get" anything anymore? Term papers are being written regarding this issue & the response it received.Instead of realizing the brilliance of such a project people have to be offended.Everyone needs to realize the multiple standards that are "adjusted" to each and every race.We are all equal, but by no means are we all the same.

I have no idea what this is about. I am too lazy to find out. I am tired of the racist subjects.

It's old. It's wore out. Most of the time it's not even true. The one's calling racism are the ones who are usually racist.

Get a new deck. This card is wore out.

Why is it OK for the government to do things such as this, but it is considered "racist" and offensive when Republicans do it? Just another example of the hypocricy on the left.
