A high school student in Fort Worth, Texas, was recently suspended for merely stating his Christian view on homosexuality – while his teacher had posted a photo of two men kissing in the classroom, telling students that homosexuality is becoming more prevalent in the world and that they should just accept it.
This sort of double standard in public schools is intolerable. I guarantee you that if my child is made to sit there and listen to not only a lecture like that, but to have to actually look at a picture of 2 people of the same sex kissing, I will go straight to the superintendent of schools. It should not be forced down people's throats.
I personally don't understand homosexuality, as I believe humans are meant to procreate and that clearly isn't possible between two people of the same sex. That being said, I don't really care what two other people do behind closed doors, but please stop putting homosexuality in my face constantly. It is everywhere and I wish they would just go live their lives and be quiet about it.
The main problem with this article is that its thesis based on the false premise that homosexuality is a choice, an "alternative" lifestyle, which it is definitely not. Homosexuality is 100% normal (it has been observed in nearly every mammal species on earth) and if "shoving it in people's faces" desensitizes a close-minded and bigoted population to it, then it should be done.

You can teach that to your children if that is who you are but it should not be in public schools!
10:36 is scientifically correct.I respect the previous opinions,but the momentum has begun.Children are the mouthpiece of their parents,and the last thing I want is for my child to wage an unwinnable war against what mom and dad refer to as an "alternative" lifestyle.They are in school to learn,not protest.

quit indoctrinating children
give them an education and let them decide as adults what they will believe or not
