Well I'll Be Condemned
A vacant building in the City of Salisbury must now pay a $25.00 registration fee.
Now WHY would any one want to INVEST into Downtown property.

To make matters worse,You get no reminder of when renewal is due. You get a bill for a $25.00 late fee. City Government at it's worst. It comes from Code and Compliance. Those robbers should be disbanded and treminated. People with that mindset could not be places in other jobs without ruining the next position they would occupy.
I think the object is to stop blight before it happens. If a $25/year fee stops someone from "investing" then I have to wonder if they have the capital to begin with.

It's not the amount of the fee that's the problem....DUH!
What happened to the "demolish it or the city will" order to Felmdan's-it is still standing?
