WASHINGTON - Today's young adults rarely take the same route to marriage their parents did.
And now, new research shows the newest generation of young college-educated adults are slowing the road to marriage with "stayover" relationships.
The new trend in dating, according to researchers at the University of Missouri-Columbia, allows young adults to have close, monogamous, intimate relationships without having to tie themselves down just yet.
