The 33rd Annual Sandcastle Contest sponsored by the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce will take place Saturday, Aug. 6, with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. for both adults and children.
The contest will be held at Fisherman’s Beach at the north end of the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, near the Henlopen Hotel. Sculptures may be started any time after 8:30 and must be completed for judging by 3 p.m. Winners will be announced at approximately 5 p.m.
