Hobby Lobby Celebrates Grand Opening Today

Earlier this morning the brand new Hobby Lobby officially opened their doors to the general public.

Located in the old Super Giant in north Salisbury, we visited the immense store loaded with just about everything from toy models to furniture.

Many were talking about how this store might end other stores like Michael's and other fabric stores in the Salisbury area.

Its hard to compete with such a giant store filled with just about everything. Its certainly a store you'll want to visit and see what they have.

PUBLISHERS NOTES: Hobby Lobby is closed on Sunday's in order for their staff to worship with their Families. I like their style!

I went in this weekend. They have an amazing selection of merchandise. However, unless it is on sale the prices are very high. The sale price brings it down to Michaels and Hancocks regular prices. I still think people who buy fabric often and other craft items will know what price to beat. When you throw in the 40-50% coupons that Michaels and Hancock offer you are getting a great deal.

It is nice to have somewhere new to go..I plan on hitting their sales whenever possible!

to have a store closed on sundays is just old fashioned joe. Many families enjoy shopping on sunday. I don't think God really cares if we shop on sunday or not.

It says in the Bible....Honor the Sabbath Day, and keep it Holy. We don't patronize businesses or restaurants on Sundays.

went to the one in Columbia, Md. this past week and wasn't impresssed. Too cluttered and high priced. I won't be going to the Salisbury Store (especially with all that Northend traffic) until I start hearing better reviews.

Joe, why were there protestors outside of Hobby Lobby?
They've acquired an empty building, stocked it with beautiful items (a bit pricey) & they are employing people...what's the problem?????
