Reality TV 'Sister Wives' To Challenge Utah Anti-Polygamy Law

Kody Brown and his four wives - the stars of the reality TV show "Sister Wives" - will soon be the subjects of another real-life drama, this one at the federal court in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Browns plan to challenge the state's anti-bigamy statute Wednesday, when attorney Jonathan Turley files a complaint on behalf of the family's fight for the rights of "plural families."

This is crap. Marriage is not open. If he can't commit to one woman, then he shouldn't get married.

Polygamy has a lot more historical justification then same sex marriage. Just look to the bible. Hey, that reminds me, how can the enact laws that restrict religious freedoms unless they are breaking the constitution.

Why would we fight for equal rights for gay and lesbian couples yet with hold those same rights for consenting adults in a polygamous relationship?
