This is a very good question.
I believe that people who curse have developed this from home , mostly from parents or peer pressure.
I would like to add , a good survey would be :
"Do you think that right wing and left wing people are enemies in this day and age."
I think it has come to that. With all that is going on in the Nation , I feel that the left is my enemy. As a result , I feel that democrats are my enemy also.
The tearing apart of our society from within , disturbs me, as you can see.

Cursing is vile; swearing is an art form when done properly. Any uneducated rube can curse but it takes a true wordsmith to swear with flair and authority.
I belive in total freedom of speech! There are only a couple of actual "curse words" acording to the Bible, i.e. using the Lords name in vain, ect. But we also have just words that people don't like to hear or are not Politicaly Correct. My feelings on those are "So what, I have a right to uter an expletive if I hit my thumb with a hammer by mistake" As far as chilren hearing an offensive word, well let me tell you, have you ever walked by a playground and listened to the language these children are using? They don't have "Virgin" ears!
The cursing does not bother me until it becomes about race and then I have a problem with it.
it only seems to bother me when i hear women do it. I work with one lady who curses like a sailor, it's quite unsettling.
It shows ones "true self " in the words they choose.
