Wicomico County citizens aren’t the only folks arguing over raising taxes and cutting spending. Erin Cox of the Annapolis Capital reports that the Anne Arundel County Council is getting pretty contentious.

It's a no-win world out there for anyone in government, county or otherwise. No matter what they do, someone is unhappy and calling their character into question. Why any sane individual would want to be involved in public service is beyond me. I offer both admiration and condolences to those who try.
