I am so blessed to have been living in the Eastern Shore and to have been working for Pohanka (specifically, Sandy Fitzgerald) when this happened to me. What a great community we live in. I cannot tell you enough how grateful I am to you all for your love, your support, and your prayers. A few people must be mentioned though...my wife, my mother, my kids, Sandy Fitzgerald, Chris and Robin Hagel, Joe Albero, Brad Bellacicco, Bonnie Hunt, and of course the anonymous donor of the huge sum of money, and all of the health care professionals I have had the pleasure of being treated by. There were literally thousands of people from all over the world that helped out one way or another. Thank you all for everything. I can't wait to start paying this forward!
Much love and admiration,
Chuck Campbell

Mr. Campbell I do not know you and no nothing of you except what I have seen on SBYnews and through Pohanka linked videos but from the few things I have seen you deserve life and you deserve to receive the best treatment and care possible. When I saw on SBYnews you were waiting to go into surgery I literally got a tear in my eye and said to myself wish I could have done more. I had $76 in the bank but knew I had to buy a raffle ticket, not for the chance to win a car and condo/townhouse (whatever!) but to help you reach your goal.
There are many people, like me, that do not know you. But you are in our thoughts, prayers, and hearts. Congratulations to you, your family and to every one that has is or will be touched by you and your strength to keep moving forward.
Isn't it refreshing to read something so upbeat as this? Best wishes, Chuck, on your continuing recovery. You are, indeed, an inspiration. Thanks to all those who were involved in any way with this wonderful outcome.
