LOCAL MIXED MARTIAL ARTS CAGEFIGHTER WINS HIS 2nd PROFESSIONAL TITLE
Primal Fighting Systems in Delmar, MD would like to congratulate it owner and Head instructor "Choctaw" Brad Pole on his recent victory at Caged Kumite in Pittsburgh, PA. On May 29th Brad fought for the Caged Kumite 155 lb. Title, and won in impressive fashion, defeating his opponent in 1:29 of round #1 with a Guillotine Choke. This is Pole's 2nd Professional title he has held in his fighting career, with the first being in 2001 in Rage in the Cage in AZ, where he won the RITC Lightweight title while still competing as an amateur.
Brad defeated Joe Demore from Pittsburgh, who had defeated Pole in their first encounter one year ago. When asked, Pole said, "it was his most satisfying win to date. I was able to get redemption and erase a loss that should have never happened."
Up next for Brad is his first fight ever on Delmarva June 19th at the Ocean City Convention Center versus the hard hitting Nah-Shon Burrell from Philadelphia. Brad will be moving up in weight for this fight to 170 lbs. and hopes to impress the crowd and solidify his place as a top pound for pound fighter in the region.
Also, making the trip to Pittsburgh was Primal Fighting Systems, Jacob Estep. Estep, in his final amateur appearance, thoroughly dominated his opponent David Shim, who is a 3rd degree Tae Kwon Do Blackbelt and 2nd Dan Judo Blackbelt for 3 rounds. After the victory Estep said, "He felt great in the fight, he felt like he could have done anything he wanted to, and it was a great tune up fight before turning Pro."
If you want to see Jacob in action, he makes his Pro Debut June 19th at the Ocean City Convention Center versus 22-2 professional boxer from Baltimore Jessie "The Beast" Nicklow.
Tickets are on Sale now through Ticketmaster or at the Ocean City Convention Center Box office. Cage Time 2 June 19th Fights begin at 7pm.
