Several Senators have learned of a possible plan by the Obama Administration that would provide a mass Amnesty for the nation's 11-18 million illegal aliens. Led by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), eight Senators addressed a letter to the President asking for answers to questions about a plan that would allow DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to provide an amnesty if they can't secure enough votes for a bill in the Senate.
The letter that was sent to Pres. Obama earlier today asks the President for clarification on the use of deferred action or parole for illegal aliens. The executive actions are typically used in special cases and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but if 60 votes can't be secured in the Senate to pass a mass Amnesty, the Administration may use the discretionary actions as an alternative.

I told you years ago it would have to be done my way. The time for talk has passed.
The conservative playbook for the last 2.5 years is to spout BS that sounds like it COULD be true to those opposed to Obama. The sad fact is that there is plenty of room for criticism on key issues, but Reps. would rather feed their base on fluff (but the base is foolish enough to think they're eating filet mignon).
Told you once he was able to use reparations to pass health care, all politicians would bounce around the law to make law for themselves.... now we see the light for what they really want...
This is just horrible.
I'm so glad that we've got some Congressmen who will stand up for what is right. We just need more of 'em!
It's hard to believe that one Administration can do so much damage in such a short period of time. This is getting scary.
Of course I am against this, but politically speaking this makes a lot of sense for Obama. Latinos are much more likely to vote democrat. He'll be picking up MILLIONS of votes. Keep in mind W only won over Kerry by about a percent and lost the popular vote to Gore. If the Dems pick up millions of votes he's nearly a lock to win again.
This makes me believe it is going to happen- even if it is bad for the country.
Reagan did this very thing in the 80s.
in my simple opinion, this gives credit to the "birthers". once illegals (obama) get amnesty, and are made "legal" the obama-nites will have an arguement for keeping all his policies intact (since any illegal activity is wiped clean - like holding office illegally).
