Young Republicans Meeting

Lower Shore Young Republicans
LSYR
MEETING REMINDER

Wednesday March 10th at 6:30 pm the Lower Shore Young Republicans will be conducting their monthly club meeting. We will meet at the Salisbury Area Camber of Commerce building located at 144 East Main Street.

This month our guest speaker will be John Palmer of the group VOICE. Mr. Palmer is the president of the local chapter and wishes to come speak to the club about two charter amendments they are proposing for this November's election. Both are related to the Tea Party Movement and the 9/12 Project.

I hope you can come join us Wednesday at 6:30.

They had better turn their attention and effort to this year's County election -- the offices now held by Pollitt and the seven dwarfs will all be up for grabs.

It's the best opportunity in at least a decade to get a real Republican Council and maybe County Exec. It can't be a "missed opportunity".

I'll support Joe Holloway, Gail Bartkovich and Stevie Prettyman for whatever office they seek. Not sure about John Cannon.

They really need to get some good candidates to replace Hughes, McCain and MacLeod.

Let's hope that one of those amendments is to remove the position of "Public Information Officer" which is completely unnecessary "fat" and also an "in house" campaign manager for Rick Pollitt's reelection, compliments of the taxpayers.

Maybe Palmer will refer to our duly elected representatives as Nazis again.

That's right John, we haven't forgotten.
