Why are we falling for this?

We all pay real estate property taxes. That is how we support our schools. It has always been that way.

Our governments (local and federal) are trying to trick us into some sort of guilty false support for the very things we pay taxes!

It is the same with the troops. Our government refuses to take care of them when they are sick or injured and then tries to trick us into "supporting the troops" with additional "donations"? What is this?

When do we get to spend our money to take care of ourselves and our families?

Anon 742,
If you don't want to go then don't. Why are you complaining about something you have no intention of supporting? Are you that miserable of a human being?
