CLEAR EMERGENY EXITS OF SNOW
Wicomico County Fire Protection officials strongly urge county commercial, industrial and public operations to clear snow away from all emergency exits. The snow storms of the past two weeks have blocked many emergency exits with snow and ice. Edward L. Torbert, Chief Fire Protection Specialist said, “All landings, stairs and ramps associated with all building exits need to be clear and exit doors should be able to be opened to the fully open position. Those exits are as important now as they are in normal times.”
For more information, please contact Edward L. Torbert, Chief Fire Protection Specialist, Wicomico County Fire Protection Division, 410-548-4994,
