People Just Like To Complain
Joe,
Hard to believe how a short time ago we were complaining about too much rain!

Yeah, wait until it melts: Look at what I found....YIKES!
10 inches of snow is equal to 1 inch of water, can vary considerable, depending on whether the snow is heavy and wet, or powdery and dry. Heavy, wet snow has a very high water content—4 or 5 inches of this kind of snow contains about 1 inch of water.
Amen. When this winter first started I was thinking,"I sure would like to see some snow." It seemed like it had been a long time since we had really had any measureable amount of snow. Well, I've seen it, had the pleasure of shoveling it, in the yard and from around the car when it got stuck. Have fell down three times in the same parking lot on the ice after the snow melted. Ahhhh.
I don't want to see any more snow. I'm done with it. Who ever had it before can have it back. I also will take the rain back.
Make sure to check under your houses for water. My husband had to buy a sump pump after the heavy rains last year and is now using it for all the snow melting and going under the house. No one wants to find mold & mildew come spring!
