Helping Those in Need
Yesterday, Bruce hunter and I were able to get out there again and take care of those people who really needed the help. My cell phone kept getting one text message after the other and we felt bad for those people who had gravel driveways because we just can't do those without seriously hurting and or breaking the snow blower.
Nevertheless, we got quite a few driveways done and made a lot of elderly and handicapped people happy.
It's one thing to get a lot of snow and be tied down to your home. It's another when you know there's no way you can personally get out there and shovel it away and or afford to pay the prices many are charging to do so.
We'll have the snow blower in the shop today to get repaired and we'll let everyone know when we're able to get out there again and help others in need.
Thanks for the smiles and hugs yesterday Folks. That's worth far more than money to me any day of the week!
Remember Folks, help your neighbors. We can't do it all and there's a lot of elderly people out there that simply cannot handle this wet snow. Be A Friend.

Just wanted to say how nice it is for you to help out the elderly and everyone who is UNABLE to do this job themselves. The world needs more people like you who don't mind lending a helping hand. There are TOO many people out there and just look out their window and don't care about the others, only themselves. My husband has been out all week helping out the best he can.
I live on a back road outside of Delmar, with a long driveway, and thought help would be hard to come by, but I was able to find a neighbor to help me out. I know there are a lot of people on Norris Twilley Road/San Domingo Road between Sharptown and Mardela who still haven't received any help and their roads have not been plowed in some areas out there. If anyone out there could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Joe YOU ROCK!! Sorry your snow blower is broken. Have you gotten dug out yet? Thanks to you and Bruce there are a lot of elderly people who aren't in such a panic.
Yes, snow blower fixed and driveway cleared out. Time to get back to work.
Just wanted to stop and say thanks, Joe! You have done so much for our community in general, and during this storm in particular. Not only have you been busting your hind end to help get critical information out... when that's all taken care of you turn around and bust it some more to help get the people out! Way to go Joe! Way to bring this community together! I'm proud to "know" you!
damn. i should have taken pictures of our neighbors helping each other.
Hey Snow Angel, I'm glad you kept your clothes on this time! LOL
