Well Al Gore Says that global warming is disguising itself as "global cooling" so that it can fool us into thinking that global warming doesn't exist at all. That way we can drop our guard so that when we least expect it, Al can ride in on the internet horse he invented and usher in a 50 degree temperature increase. Afterward he return to his house and generate another $3600 monthly electric bill and complain that everyone else is using too much electricity.

It's called GLOBAL warming.. not your backyard warming... they use the global temperatures. Just because salibury or ocean city has a cold season doesn't effect the entire global temperature. You sound like an ignorant when you compare your neighborhood temperatures to the global climate.
They are really having a problem with global warming in North Dakota. I heard with the wild child it was a balmy -52 degrees.

I'm not a 'greenie' persay, yet i do believe we are and will continue to have warmer summers and colder winters until this world ends....BUT...i dont think it is because i brushed my teeth with a 230volt electric toothbrush while i let the water run as my ford F-9500 turbo superdeisel was warming up in the driveway for an hour with no muffler with the brown spot in my yard from dumpin those 32 gallons of oil out from frying those turkeys last month.
its because the earth, like many planets, go through changes over the course of its life. pretty naive to think the hairspray you put in your hair speeds this process up in the least bit. this goes for the other side too, that ozone filter you put on your car wont slow the process in the least either so neither side should be flattering themself. = )

people cmon,it's winter,it's supposed to be cold,just because there is global warming doesn't mean there won't still be cold weather spells,if you pay attention they are saying that there just wont be as much cold weather as in the past,and for that reason there is ice shelfs and glaciers that are melting like never before in recorded history.global warming doesn't mean there will never be any cold weather in the winter,duh.
Come on guys. In the mid 1800s they were cutting and harvesting ice every winter from the Wicomico and Pocomoke Rivers. You need at least 2 feet of ice to cut into cubes to store in the ice houses. When did you see last either river froze up that hard? Maybe your gran-daddy remembers.

I don't think it's that cold outside- haven't had a coat on yet this winter. I keep it in the car, though, just in case... I'm real conservative with the heat setting in the house, though- so maybe I'm just now better acclimated to cooler temps. And no, I'm nowhere near menopausal. Just trying to keep costs down as best I can.
I do remember as a child having a lot more snow than what we get these days- snow that you could really sled on- not snow that would be turned to mud after a few passes down a hill.
Not saying I believe in global warming, just saying I remember lots of snow in years past.

I dont expect people who truly believe in virgin mothers, talking bushes and a merely 5000 year old planet to buy into all of the COLD HARD IRREFUTABLE EVIDENCE that explains and proves global warming. Maybe if we murmur into our hands some more it will go away!

I find it hard to believe in global warming considering the fact that one volcanic eruption puts more CO2 in the air than any man made CO2 emissions ever created.
