I certainly did! Shame on ANY adult in Wicomico and surrounding counties who hasn't in light of what happened to Sarah. If WE don't advocate for the children, who will? Conscience dictates we MUST rid our society of those who would do harm to the ones who cannot protect themselves.

Absolutely!! I did that when the Sarah Foxwell abduction was first announced. I contacted everyone I could think of, including the senators, congressman, mayor, etc.
I am the advocate for my children. I will continue to fight for voice to be heard. I want sex offenders to be sentenced for life or death sentences. Nothing any less....

Yes I have. I did get a nice response from Jim Mathias, although he was the only one out of all that I contacted (Kratovil, O'Malley, Mikulski, Cardin, and Conway).

I admit to not reading the proposal in its entirety, so I have a question:

Does the proposal differentiate between level of "Sex offenders?" Example: the Sarah Foxwell case versus a 19 year old being labeled a sex offender due to his relationship with a 17 year old girl.

Curious how this would be resolved. Tensions and emotions are high around here, and we need to remember that laws are usually not all-encompassing. We can not seek some form of legal "justice" for Sarah by stomping on others.

Yes, I contacted my DELAWARE officials.
I agree with 11:33...there are instances where the "sex-offender" title does not really belong in the same category as people like Mr. Leggs.
They need to have different levels and different descriptions for different types of offenders first.
If a 17 year old boy and a 17 year old girl have sex and the parents object, this boy will end up having the title as sex offender for the rest of his life. That is not fair.
Don't any of you remember your teen years? It happens but we never looked at is as a sex offense.
As far as those who do sexual acts which are not consensual, then yes, put them away for life or at the very least build new communities for only these types of people to live in and put neck bracelets on them that will explode if they leave the perimeter. This way, they just saved us tax dollars by killing THEMSELVES!

I did, and Mathias was also the only one (out of 8) that did not send me an auto-response.

I have not yet but deinately will. Can you list emails/ addresses for our sentors, congressmen and mayor ?
My daughter asked me after Sarah Foxwells murder why places put dogs to sleep when they are out of control or because they have no more room for them and why we keep murderers alive ? Good question.
