HEROIN is an epidemic sweeping this nation and I bet you most of it comes across the southern border originaly. There are kids out there doing this stuff. Doctors dont seem to give a rats a$$ eigther. You cant save America until you get rid of all these drugs.

well I do know of one "doctor" in Georgetown that will prescribe anything to anyone...like my Aunt who's an prescripty addict, probably where they get em from

Keep smiling buddy because you're going to be the pretty boy of cell block "C".

There's a lot of prescription fraud right here in Salisbury. The problem is that the judges are way to lenient with the perps who do it. They know they'll only get their hands slapped by the system. These are all strung out drug addicts do this and they'll do it until the end of time because there are zero consequences.

Haha, the location at the top "Shady Lane". Fitting.

I think the last guy swallowed most of the evidence!

They all know the system will let them back out. 9 times out of 10, they have a record and will continue to do it.

My sister's sister-in-law just died of a drug overdose. Prescription fraud is how she obtained the medications to begin with. The first time she overdosed was on oxycontin and alcohol. This was after she had written illegal prescriptions and been caught with the drugs to begin with. After the first time she overdosed, she was left with brain damage. She was able to function, but was on permanent disability because of the brain damage. She was just recently caught again with illegally writing prescriptions. Unfortunately, not very long after this she overdosed and died. Her mother was the one who found her. She was only 38 years old. Sad just so sad. I pray for her mother and father. The prescription drug problem is a big problem. Once again another life lost due to this crap. Another family destroyed. When is someone going to make the penalties tougher? They need to do something.

The justice system needs to crack down when these cases are heard in court. The defendents in these cases tell lie after lie and judges and jury's believe them.

The use of these prescription drugs has become epidemic around here. Oxycontin in particular. It ruins the lives of those addicted as well as well as those they love. Something needs to be done...

I know these people personally and this paper should really get thier facts straight before they want to write about them...they should be suied defamation of character...maybe they want to check back with the police and re-write their article..thanks

This is an epidemic sweeping this country, drugs such as oxycotin and ocycodon create such dependancy nobody is immune from it, the rich to the poor. Joe smo to rush lymball is a testament to that. with this in mind you may ,ask yourself, why would a company knowingly release a "medication" so devastatingly addictive to its patients, well a good company makes money, but a "great" company creates new avenues for revenue, such as viewing a patient as a potential addict and redefining "medication" into another doller. Tipping the scale in favor of profitabilty all the while no one questions their moral or business ethics. On oneside theres a fortune 500 CEO or lobbyist buying the FDA, and being hailed an innovator while he/she ruins millions of lives, to take on the conglomerate is unamerican, todays america is big business practices and we who obey.
What would happen if they could buy a president, and reform healthcare this problem would be exponetially worse...ohh shit why was the government in session on christmas eve.........and this is no fairytale but I'll tell you what is.

The above mentioned article is so far off balance and is as close to the truth as "Global Warming".

This is absolutely ridiculous, the only prescrition drugs seized in the residence was a legal Rx of Topamax, which is a migraine medication prescibed to a resident.

This case was so improperly handled and illegely preformed it's as dead as the constitution!!!
If cops break the law to uphold it where is the justice?

sincerly

A.K.A_Smiling Guy
P.S. I'm guilty untill proven innocent so If anybody wants the real story respond to this maturely and i will post it, this case alone is among thousands, where "our" goverment is stripping us of "our" civil liberties, how far will it go????

I know one of them very well he is my son and I am just sick about it.

I knew he was using and wanted him to get help the state knew it too. All he ever got was a slap on the wrist if he had been locked up months ago things would be different. They want these people for stings to get the next one but they offer no way out and no help to the addict. He was on a fast track to being in jail or dead. I pick jail!

The doctors know what they are doing and the pharmaceutical companies do too! It’s just sick. I see people in my office all day....I deal with many poor and I can tell the addicts. These doctors prey upon them and it's just sick and wrong.

My son's addiction was out of my realm of control no matter how much I tried or wanted him off the stuff he would not listen to me but that is the junkie he became…the junkie they all become. I understand you have opinions but family members of the incarcerated do read these posts and we are already hurting more than you will ever know.

I am an active, giving member in the community but I am ashamed my son’s dirty laundry is out there. His addiction touches more than his own life it tore apart so many that love him as well.

Charles Darwin would be proud of those mugshots......proves his theory
You people are forgetting that Oxycontin and other drugs like it have a valid medicinal purpose and have made life bearable for people suffering from chronic pain and terminal illnesses. Why should we outlaw a substance just because theres always going to people out there who cannot control themselves?Theres tons of alcoholics,do you think Jack Daniels is going to stop making whiskey because of that? The problem is those who abuse it

Dear Mom...I dont know which man you are speaking about...but I know the pain and uncertainty that your family is trying to cope with at this time. You say that your son is a junkie and that you saw Jail as a better alternative then death. Maybe now with the arrests having taken place...this will be an ideal time for the judge to maybe sentence him not to jail but into an intensive program where he can recieve help and be the son you once knew. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

i agree with aaron 100% I am a friend to everyone of those people located above except for Mr. Graver.I am also a very close friend to topamaz owner. This entire press release is fictional GET UR FACTS STARIGHT before you go on saying "drug ring" they get a person who has been knowingly breaking and entering around town to pull some name out of his ass then they decide to go to that residence and happen to have people hanging out and arresting them for paraphernalia really with a bad warrent at that i am absolutly ashamed of our justice system and this state, georgetown task force think their the DEA i have news for them next time u search better check your paper work. And as for the comments about their mug shots. When you go to jail u get one mug shot unless you look totally different their not changing it just like your driver license. good work de law enforcement really what the hell did they do they let mr graver take them on a wild goose chase and lie to the media way to go georgetown u fucked up again!!! rapist and murders out there and ur envading homes over a junkie. thisis absolutly appauling to hear all of this fictionalinfor they are puttng out to the public...remember dont believe everything the news tells u cause this teches u most of it is bullshit. and to the mother of___(ther r drugrehab programs for ur son he decided he was to good for that) have a nice day

Anonymous said...

The newsletter blatantly points out that Graver let the cops know everything. WOW!!!!

Anonymous said...

the warrent they serverd was not in good standing. the served the warrent BEFORE it was even signed so the charges will have to be dismissed. That is are justices system always jumping the gun just to make a name for themselves.

These guys were arrested for nothing....I know all six of them and they didn't find nothing in the house. I showed up after the cops came and watch them destroy the house. After they found nothing, they trumped some charges on all of them except one.

Anonymous said...

One served jail time.

Anonymous said...

Shady lane exactly lmao

Anonymous said...

Yes and some of them will never learn they keep doing it to this day

Anonymous said...

Yea, the cops followed them, to the house, they new where they went, so before you talk about something you know nothing of, only one person got into trouble, one of witch had an illegal gun, so if you want to keep saying someone snithey that's not the case, kyle gathers drove someone to the house to buy the pills, kyle gathers had the drugs on him, that came out of the house. Looking back that's where it came from. I seen the paper work for my own eyes. Receiving stolen property isn't b£e it's getting property that's stolen
