(Preston, Md) – Maryland State Police and allied law enforcement are searching for two men and a woman in connection with the murder of a migrant farm worker in Caroline County late last night during a robbery.
The victim has not been identified at this time. He is described as a Hispanic male, possibly in his 30’s. His body has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy and identification.
Shortly before midnight yesterday, state troopers from the Easton Barracks were dispatched to assist Caroline County Sheriff’s Office deputies who were responding to a call about a robbery and shooting in the 6400-block of Bell Creek Road, Preston, Md. Arriving deputies found the victim had been apparently shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Caroline County Sheriff’s Office requested the Maryland State Police Homicide Unit conduct the investigation.
The preliminary investigation indicates that just before midnight yesterday, three suspects, who are described only as a white female and two African American males, entered the front door of a farmhouse that is used as a residence by ten migrant farm workers. The house is in a secluded area, about 300 yards from Bell Creek Road.
When the suspects entered the house, they demanded money. One of the male occupants of the house was struck in the face with the handgun being carried by one of the male suspects. A second resident of the house became involved in an altercation with the suspects and was shot and killed. The first man injured did not require hospitalization.
After the shooting, the three suspects, who escaped with an undetermined amount of money, ran down the dirt driveway to an unknown type of vehicle parked on Bell Creek Road. They fled the area in an unknown direction.
Technicians from the Maryland State Police Forensic Sciences Division responded and processed the scene for evidence. Caroline County State’s Attorney Jonathan Newell also came to the scene to meet with investigators. His office is continuing to provide investigative assistance.
Throughout last night and today, investigators have been following up leads and continuing interviews. The individuals who live in the home speak little English. Interpreters from the Easton Police Department, Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police have been assisting with the interviews.
Anyone with information about this murder, or who may have been traveling on Bell Creek Road between 11:00 p.m. yesterday and 1:00 a.m. this morning is urged to contact Maryland State Police at the Easton Barracks at 410-822-3101. Calls may be kept confidential.
The State Police Homicide Unit is being assisted in this investigation by the State Police Easton Barracks Criminal Investigation Section, and the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation is continuing.

When caught I bet her parents are so proud. If you live in that area and you know a white female dating a thug call in her name to the police. I am sure the list is long. All three need the death sentance. Our liberal courts and society rathers play the victim.
While on the note of crime and punishment. Joe have you heard anything about a Maryland State Police investigation into the allegation the Black Troopers Coalition may have been involved in a cheating incident. The rumor is some form of cheating took place when a question from the promotions test was asked before the test was issued. ??? This would not be the first time some of Marylands Finest had the test before issued.
In fact a female Lt. who was living with a Black Cpt. involved in the testing structure was suspended after she scored a nearly perfect score. As did some of her close friends on the job. She spent her suspension in the islands Hmmmmm, She did not lose her rank, nor did the the Cpt.
Side note: She and the Captain later split up. The last I heard she was naked running up and down the street she lived on. This sad but true. She was taken to a mental health facility. I guess what goes around comes around after all.
I bet we never hear a word about it. I just think if this is true the public should be aware. If it were a white trooper you better believe it would have made it to the Baltimore Sun paper.
Maybe we should have a White Troopers Assoc. Maybe with Ohbama and some of the bias,we just might need a white support system after all.
