White House Advises Democrats On Protests

SBYnews photo
Pelosi says disruptions won't derail health care overhaul
WASHINGTON - Top White House officials counseled Democratic senators Thursday on coping with disruptions at public events on health care this summer, officials said, and promised the party and allies would respond with twice the force if any individual lawmaker is criticized in television advertising.

These officials also told skittish senators that fresh polling suggests an emphasis on issues such as barring insurers from denying coverage on the basis of pre-existing medical conditions is a political winner, able to increase support among independents, women, seniors and rural voters.

9.4% UN-EMPLOYMENT, If you believe that theres some land for sale in Hebron you might be interested in.

Why doesn't most of America understand that the largest majority of those who WERE on unemployment had their time run out and are no longer getting benefits as well.

Their stats are the biggest JOKE going in America.

I dont know.

so basically pelosi is saying that it doesn't matter what the american citizens are saying, they're going to do what they/she wants anyway... nice.

Just listening to Rush and he was making a point of asking our elected represenatives paticular questiong based on the language of the health care bill.

This sounds like a much better way to approach elected officials than just getting into a shouting match.

If someone/s could establish a list of questions that were relevant to what we are concerned about with reference to page and paragraph of the bill it would be interesting to see our represenative squarm.

Does anyone know what website we can go to to download the bill?

What she is saying is that most Americans aren't the ones in these town halls. These are poor sports who lost and know how to yell loudly. 71% of Americans want reform. We've elected the leaders and it's going to happen. Better luck in 2010.

"Just listening to Rush . . ."
Now why doesn't that surprise me? Yuck.

Disruptions? is that how they are categorizing people's anger and frustrations? Very, very foolish, but if you are an elitist baffoon, you don't get it, period!

Great... another round with this picture. Way to make SBY look good!

Joe

You need to encourage your readers to take a look at he House Bill on Health Care.

As it is 1018 pages long and obviously written by lawyers simpily scanning it will be enough.

This is obviously how obama plans to put everyone back to work. All the jobs required by this bill will have us all working for the feds.

I stopped counting the number of different grants this bill will fund. Such as grants to better target Medicare patiets who are in the greatest need of language services. Grants in this area may not exceed $500.000 per grant.

Pages 407 thru 419 deal with nothing other than issues involving those who do not speak English.

The kicker for me was on Page 932 "The Wellnes Trust Fund" is the financial bomb in this whole thing.

We are in such deep s----!

1:45-71% of Americans may want reform but that doesn't mean they approve of Obamacare and eugenics-go look up that poll, yesterday it was over 50% that are against the unread 1200 page bill Congress was trying to pass before the August recess. Twisting numbers to make your point may make you feel better, but you can't hide from the truth.

It's time to take the Gallows to D.C.

Hell, if it was up to me I would have us all revert to how health care was run back in the day.

There was none!!!!

You had to go to the Doc or hospital you paid for it. Of course you could trade a chicken and basket of "maters" or some fire wood.

Oh well we are only going to live so long. All you obama supporters can take 5-7 years off your life expectancy thanks to this plan you believe is so almighty wonderful.

Bet most you you have not even looked at it.

For all current and prior service persons this thing is "FUBAR".

4:04, not only FUBAR but after the recess BOHICA with full force!!!

Pelosi is the one who should be worried about her health care.
Should I say her health!
People are tired of her crap.

enough with this picture already...

anonymous 4:17, are you really sick and tired of that picture? Wait until tomorrow's Post, (or some time soon) where I blast the Democrats referencing this image. You won't believe it.

Saw a DNC commercial last night and they used this picture in it. Of course no credit was given on any of the pictures

Joe should get a lawyer and let him loose on the DNC, I think Kratovil will need a job soon, he might do it!

joealbero said...

My lawyers are all over it. They not only stole it, they also went ahead and did a commercial with it without any permission and brochures for a fundraiser. Not to worry, we're on it.

Ha! I find it hilarious that your picture is all over the place. Maybe next time you'll watermark your image. For someone that has such an "influential" and long standing blog, you sure do have some noob tendancies. Speaking of which, you're disabling right-clicks does nothing but piss people off when they try to open a link in a new tab or window. Anyone with half a brain can still steal an image right off of your site, which I think is obvious at this point.

Pelosi and her croonies in DC need to go its not just about the health care bill look what they di to the fighter jets program they scrapped it not caring about the job loss they wanted to save the tax payers money and now they announce not a monthy later that they will spend millions on NEW private jets for themselves all in the name that it will create jobs ... a month ago they didnt care about the jobs now they care...yeah they scrapped that program to spend that money on themselves...what do you peple think about that....not hearing much about it in the news and Obama had the nerve to say in one of his many speaches that they spend all the money on the bailouts and stumulus without not one earmark ...what a joke.....but he didnt lie it wasnt NOT one it was several thousand.....now theres a way to twist words to make you think they didnt do something without lieing.....keep your ears open for the wording....

The sentiments of this blog and most of the commenters are the best reason why I came over this side of the bridge. Once you cross the bay its like Deliverance all over again.
