Some time today we'll be posting an article PROVING the City of Salisbury is the 9th Most Dangerous City, (per capita) In America.
That being said, the Daily Times recently interviewed several people in reference to this detailed information and Salisbury News is wondering, will they actually produce and provide the actual and factual data they were given.
Without a doubt, for the very first time the Daily Times will be called out in advance and forced to state the facts. I know I had stated the other day that we were the 10th Most Dangerous City in America but I was wrong, we're the 9th!
It's important that each and every one of you know the TRUTH. It's also important that you know exactly the information the Daily Times puts out and decide for yourself, is it true, is it twisted and can you TRUST them any more.
They can use this story as an example of what's to come in the future. When people continue to grow tired of being open enough to share the information they're interested in, (and making money off of it) and in the end they twist the story, Salisbury News will be there to call them out on it.
Let's see what tomorrow's story brings and we'll bring you that information later today.

Oh, The Daily Times will have it. Front page, huge headline, lots of quotes from Chief Webster about how he's not receiving the support of the new Mayor that he needs to make the people of Salisbury safe and what a waste of money substations would be, and how he will have to pull officers from street patrol to man them. All complete BS, but that's what he will say.
There will be lots of attacks on Campbell and Cohen, and a two-paragraph lead-in that compares Ireton to Millard Filmore and Nero before giving a one-half sentence quote from the Mayor on an unrelated subject.
The end of the article will be blowing smoke up Gary Comegy's butt for all the changes he'd "like to see" and end with a quote from him about "if we all come together, we can make this city beautiful," or some such garbage. Louise Smith will be quoted somewhere, wringing her hands over what needs to be done and just hoping, hoping that the city can begin this tough work that needs to be done.

The biggest crimes in Salisbury this week is prostitution, followed by drugs. The Migrants are back in town and the prostitutes are raking in the dough. The Thrift Travel Inn and The Chesapeake Inn are overloaded with the dregs of society and prostitution is booming. Drop by any evening around 9 or 10 pm and enjoy the show. The SPD isn't doing anything about it and they know it. This is a disgrace and this is an example of why our city has declined. Our quality of life and our image is rotting away. Cant anybody do anything about this?
The SPD can't even control the juveniles that have tormented elderly residents in the East side neighborhoods. As far as I'm concerned the SPD is worthless. It goes on every night of the week. Gangs of juveniles roaming the streets terrorizing anyone they come in contact with. Might as well be the projects in NYC.
Not concerned about the local whores... as long as they have regular checkups... but more about the drug/ gang/ kill the a$$holes crowd. rob/ kill/ bloods/ who cares is what I'm interested in
Really who cares about the hookers?I lived on the East side and the comment about roving gangs of juveniles is right on!They literally block traffic and cuss you out for merely driving thru a public street.I feel bad for the older residents of Doverdale area who cannot afford to move out of homes they have lived in for years while Housing Authority just keeps moving the thugs on in whenever someone dies and a slumlord snatches up the house on the cheap.
