DALLAS - Three children were kept in a hotel bathroom for about a year and were "horribly emaciated" when police found them earlier this month, authorities said. One claimed to have been repeatedly sexually assaulted.
The children's mother, 30-year-old Abneris Santiago, is charged with injury to a child. Her 37-year-old live-in boyfriend, Alfred Santiago, is charged with aggravated sexual assault and continuous sexual abuse.
The extended stay hotel where the Santiagos lived sits alongside one of Dallas' busiest freeways. It has daily and weekly rates and offers maid service for an extra cost, though it wasn't clear if hotel employees had entered the unit where the children were found.

It will take these poor kids years to recover from this,if they ever do.Her and the greaseball BF should stay in prison for along time...Oh and sterilize them both so they cannot have more kids to torture!

As a parent of 3 children i dont know how people or in this case (Animals)can treat helpless children this way what is wrong with people. Over the last few days I have read about abused children on the site and I feel so much anger about the way they have been treated and so sadden as well. So please folks if you even suscpect a child is in danger please dont wait or be scared to call some one to report it. Children cant defend them self's we the people have too..So agian please step in and help!!
THose poor children. They never had a childhood and now that they are safe I doubt they will ever recover emotionally. Ruined because the one who gave birth to them couldn't or wouldn't & didn't protect them. Yes what courage she had to FINALLY go to the police. I hope she has a slow and painful death and I hope that creep gets it real good in jail. He will know what it is like to have no control and be abused.
My prayers are with those kids and the ones that will care for them now.
my heart is so sad to hear a story like that. I hope these two get what the got comming to them..
