Holy Cow! Once again, I'm not exactly sure what brought this on but we have already surpassed our record day in visitors by quite a bit and the day clearly isn't over yet. I have been in and out the entire day and got off to a late start but thank you. It's so rewarding to achieve steady growth and see that each day is bringing in more and more interested viewers.
I haven't had the time to look at comments and what they total for the day but my guess is that those numbers are pretty darned strong as well. So thank you for visiting Salisbury News and especially for participating with comments.
Once I post this I'll go back and take a look at the comments and update that number as well. Have a great evening and thanks again everyone.
365 comments so far for the day so far!
UPDATE: Comments are up to 408 at 9:44 AM on 6-24-09.

There have been 365 comments on things you have posted just today. I wonder how many more comments were posted today on topics you posted yesterday or days before that?
How many went bye-bye???
A wise man once said the more people you meet, the less you want to go outside.
What brought this on? A murder. A police chief who doesn't give a flip that another person was murdered under his so-called watch. An open house to fiddle while Rome burns. A council meeting with three idiots throwing away money.
What's not to comment on?
And most of those comments are about the Choudry murder. Maybe these comments should be forwarded to Webster! Not that he appears to care.
Yeah, go SPD!!! Lock up those horrible people who have a little bit of weed for their personal use! Worry about back child support (not that that isn't important; people should live up to their obligations to their children) and get those speeding tickets written! Keep it quiet when someone is robbed at an ATM, we don't need to know! And to the county police force, keep on telling people who come home to find someone's been in their house and left the door open that it was probably just the wind that blew the (locked) door open! I guess next will be random searches to see whether honest, hardworking citizens are illegally carrying. Can't have that, you know. Guns are only for crooks and thugs.
Enough is more than enough. I for one would be happy to see armed National Guards standing on every street corner until this crime spree is solved. It's obvious that local law enforcement is lax to say the least, and oblivious or just downright unconcerned. I'm tired of not feeling safe and having to constantly be on my guard.
Me thinks this grannydragon person may be hitting a bit too much on puff the magic dragon. National Guard on every corner?
It's called "hyperbole." And no, grannydragon doesn't consort with Puff the Magic Dragon.
Maybe a "Get rid of Webster" march downtown will wake Jim up.
(some fire Webster bumber stickers couldnt hurt).
