Station 16 Has Their Grand Opening Saturday

While I couldn't personally attend this celebration, obviously enough concerned Citizens who support Salisbury News were there.

Blah, Blah, Blah, $10,000,000.00 later, here we are Folks.

that this wasn't open to all who subsidized the venture is a disgrace!

Now everyone knows how to get Barrie and Louise to an event. Offer free, all you can drink, BOOZE.

To get Bubba and Shanie offer free FOOD and BOOZE and they'll be the first ones to show up.

Why wasnt there many of the actuall fire fighters there? A few from station 16 vollies, the career staff that had to be there, a couple from stations 1 and 2 but not many more. Most of the career staff stayed outside in a trailer. They should have had to suffer all the blah blah blah like the rest of us

Anon 8:34, you should read the Salisbury Fire Department website. It states that the event is "open to the public". That would include you & everybody else in Salisbury.

I went and had a great seat and food and a tour of the place. I didn't get an invite so that is NOT a good excuse. Your loss people, for not going.

It was advertised as open to the public. I enjoyed it,but had to leave before the food and tour.

It would be nice to have a open house for the public, minus the politicians.

I hope you did get a great seat. Hardly anyone was there and it is obvious there were many empty seats.

People don't give a shit about the Salisbury Fire Department.

Well pal you are full of it yourself. I just looked at the pics on Fire in the Hole Photography and all I could see was members of the Masonic Lodge. If it wasn't for the Masons, paid staff that had to be there and a few politicians there would have been no one there. Absolutely no one!! What a F#cking Joke, how much did that event cost tax payers?
