More Proof Tilghman Smith & Comegys Couldn't Care Less About Salisbury

You see, without Salisbury News, NONE of these things would be exposed. In San Antonio Texas, their River Walk is the pride of the City. In Salisbury Maryland, what you don't see can't hurt you, until Salisbury News comes along.

Many of you will recall when the Salisbury Zoo was the Pride of the City, not any more. Is there anything this Mayor hasn't screwed up completely? After this series of pictures I'm sure Tilghman, Smith & Comegys will come3 up with another Smith Street clean up to make everyone believe they actually care. They don't Folks, so don't buy their BS!

This is probably the biggest smack in the face on the Taxpayers I've seen yet. I guess if we citizens went down there and started cleaning the River Walk up we'd get arrested for destruction of property?

So, will YOU be getting out there to VOTE in the next election? IF Tilghman were to run again, would any of YOU vote for her? I mean, let's save the Taxpayers some money on any polls and get the answers right here and now.

And yet...I was traveling in Europe with friends, who ended up having to delay their return to the US because my friend was ill and broke her leg. You'd better believe that the City fined them because their grass wasn't cut, plus they charged a $100 inspection fee two days in a row! Somehow they couldn't understand why my friends didn't have getting their grass cut as a top priority why they struggled with a frail, ill woman's badly broken leg 3000 miles away from home. Maybe the citizens should form a group and fine the City of Salisbury when it breaks its own rules!

Looks like the Riverwalk by the Ramada where the Salisbury Festival is held?

Joe,
Have you seen how grown up and nasty looking the city park is lately? Sunday we visited the park only to find it in shambles. One of the best fishing spots around has waste high weeds keeping me from fishing. In fact the entire shore line looks horribly pathetic. The city should send itself a fine and be made to clean it up.

As residents of the city, we once got a ticket from a city employee for having an "obnoxious growth" along our property. In other words, a tall weed. Nevermind the cracks in the sidewalk or pot holes in the payment the city employee said, that's not his department. It's funny that the city doesn't police their own properties. Go ride by the Main Post Office... you will see weeds along the side of the building that are 6 feet or higher, they look like small trees! I guess the city's policy is "do as I say, not as I do."

Joe, the riverwalk should be the pride of our city as well! San Antonio is the perfect example of how a downtown should function. We should take notes and try to emulate their ideas in our downtown. Look at Charleston, SC - they have a beautiful riverwalk as well.

Joe, keep giving her hell. And Bubba, too. This city deserves FAR better than these clowns.
