Incident: Robbery
Date of Incident: 11 July 2008
Location: 300 Block of Glen Avenue, MD
Suspects:
1. Charles Darnell Quailes, 20, Salisbury, MD
2. Juvenile, 16, Salisbury, MD


Narrative: On 11 July 2008, at 1:30 A.M., deputies responded to a reported robbery in the 300 block of Glen Avenue. Upon arrival the deputies met with two victims who claimed they were approached by two young individuals who asked for cigarettes and money. When the victims stated they had neither, the two subjects began punching the victims and pushed them on the ground. Investigating Sheriff’s Deputies checked the area and detained two individuals nearby this incident who were identified as the assailants by one of the victims. Both subjects were identified as Charles Darnell Quailes, 20, and a 16 YOA juvenile. Both subjects were arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery.

Quailes was transported to the Central Booking Unit at the Wicomico County Detention Center where he was processed and charged. After an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner, Quailes was held on $100,000.00 bond in the Detention Center. The 16 year old juvenile was detained by juvenile authorities.
