New Logo

So how do you like the new look of the Blog? The new link for tomorrow's Classified Ads is up but nothing will be there until the morning. Don't forget, if you have something you want to see, get it to me by the end of the day so it can make it into this weeks ads. Let us know how you like the new look?

It's a good new logo. But the question is.... Are you going for the nuclear transfusion look?

It gives the hint that this blog is global, which it is. Leave it up there, I think it's cool!!

ALL IT NEEDS IS A WITCH ON A BROOM STICK FLYING OUT OF SPACE WITH A DUNCE BEHIND HER WITH A SHA TAG

Like the blog, hate the look.

Is that supposed to be a globe? Looks like an atom. What does an atom have to do with Salisbury or Delmarva? Maybe tweak the electrons a bit and put the delmarva peninsula in the middle like 2:43 said. A skilled graphic designer could make that look awesome. That would be more appropriate looking, IMHO.

The mast head is way too large. It takes up most of the screen on a notebook vertically. You are losing good space "above the fold"

The blue borders on top are a bit corny, too. Make the border width 0 so that it all looks like on graphic.

The right and left bars run together now. I think it's because weatherbug and the classifieds link are too wide. They should probably be the same width as Garfield so that you get some open space between them.

Hope that this feedback helps!

What's the frequency Kenneth? It seems more related to Alfred E. Newman or Albert Einstein.

Nice fresh display doesn't hurt Joe, looks good, nothing wrong with a change now and again to freshen things up. Personally I like it. Of course we all have different tastes so I would worry about critisim.

Everything is made of carbon, atoms, protons and neutrons, so how is that out of place?

Follow the yellow brick road......

I kind of like the new logo. It reminds me of The Daily Planet logo that was used so often in Superman.

Well it certainly fits the image, Super News, Super Reporters, Super Logo. Fits to the tee.

don't like the logo, but like the rest of it. i agree with those that say it looks like an atom or the jetsons.

A little high tech...but I am not complaining as I am just glad we have somewhere to hear what REALLY happens around town.If people dislike or want something different, have a contest and open it up to your bloggers.First prize could be a beautiful, romantic, dinner cruise down "sewer river"(kidding) But,seriously it might be fun to get public input.

I have dial-up and the new logo is slower to load. As I wait and watch, it seems to read as SPYNews until the whole B is exposed! You may want to choose another font to eliminate this since this blog is all about openess and truth!

I also agree with others about including something that relates the site to our geographic location.

It FINALLY hit me what the new logo reminds me of.....ever seen "The adventures of Jimmy Neutron"?Anyone with kids under 10 had to have watched it least once. That show used visual effects like atoms between scenes.
