Yes, I'm proud to be an organ donor. I believe that the only thing that survives of a person is their soul, and you don't need your body in the next life. If my parts can help someone live a fuller life, then who am I to deny them that?

Is sure am an organ donor now. A few years ago I was injured severely and thanks in part to donated skin used for temporary grafting, it helped keep me alive. So now when I go, I want to possibly return the favor.
i am a donor, have been for 17 yrs. at first i just signed up because it figured why not, but after the loss of my 17 yr old cousin in a tragic auto accident it only confirmed my decision. she too had signed up to be an organ donor (w/ her mom's permission) she has helped so many others live better fuller lives.
I have donated my body to Science Care (www.sciencecare.com). I carry a card that has a toll-free number to call in the event of my death. They will, at no charge, take my body for medical research. I've done this for two reasons: one, the research that will benefit others, and two, because I absolutely refuse to leave my family to spend an outrageous sum of money for a headstone, casket, vault and all the other trappings that make funeral homes rich. All I need is my spirit when I move on to another plane, if there is one.
The only cost to my family will be $45 if they choose to have my cremated remains returned to them.
ABSOLUTELY! Have been ever since that little boy was shot in Italy and his organs went to save 7 different people!! I was so touched and AMAZED!! Give back ...even when you're dead and gone!

Yes. Though my body has internally a great deal of problems so transplant is out of the choices of use I hope they can learn something about diabetis or what ever else may be taking its toll on my insides. I would like to make sure that the scientist or who ever get rid of the left overs and not dump it on my family when they are through. I have to say and act of kindness and the donation of time to the young and old may show bigger return than you heart or kidney. Just my opinion

I am an organ donor. I like the idea that when I am gone, someone might live, or at least have a better life because of me.
I would want someone to be a doner, if I had a loved one that needed a transplant, it is only fair to be willing to be a donor.
I'm proud to be a body donor. I did it so that my body may benefit others. My family is proud of what I want and will respect my wishes. Who knows, maybe a cure can be found for something that is taking so many lives right now.
My grandmother received a kidney from an organ donor. It gave her several additional years without having to be on machines.
