Worcester County Sheriff WARNS Citizens About Bogus ROTC Magazine Sales Scam

The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office has experience cases where teenagers are soliciting people to by magazines. The teenagers have stated that they are selling magazines for the school ROTC. Currently there is no one soliciting for the Worcester County School ROTC program.



These individuals have been very aggressive in their questions and have asked questions not associated with the sales of magazines such as, if the home owner has a dog, or what the neighborhood is like. It is possible that these individuals are surveying the area in an attempt to commit criminal activity.



If anyone comes in contact with these individuals please contact the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office and report the activity.



Law Enforcement can identify these individuals and possibly avert criminal activity.

These same individuals (so I assume) were also booted from Brittingham Square Apartment Homes this week...so they are in Salisbury as well.
