Ladies & Gentlemen, Remember the Billiard Event I Hosted at Dover Downs with all the Nascar Drivers? Well, here's the entire Show. Kick back and enjoy! I start Commentating with Female Professional Pool Player Liz Ford around 1/2 way through, till the end.
This truly was a special event and yet another huge event brought to the Eastern Shore. Can't wait till this years event! Our thanks goes out to Dover Downs, especially Jeannine Lahey and Mr. Bruce Hunter from Bruce's Billiards right here in Salisbury.
In case I hadn't mentioned it earlier, Dover Downs had the Pool Tables lined up from a company in Pennsylvania and they backed out 2 days before the event was to take place. I called Bruce and asked if there was any way he could provide 4 tables, set them up pretty much overnight and also participate refereeing the event and he agreed to do so right then and there. Bruce and I had a fantastic time and we're happy to see this Show is now being played all over television across the United States.

Didnt I see this on the blog last night? When I was trying to answer the ticket question, it was over on the top right hand corner and I watched it. RP

Yay! Joe saved the event. There are people who get paid big bucks to do that, but it took Joe to do it. (?)
anonymous 9:39, yes, it was up briefly butu it was slowing the Blog down big time as it's a large file. We decided to put it into a Post instead.
9:40, we're not quite sure what their plans are for 2009. I kind of think they really didn't expect the turn out to be as well received as it was and the players had an absolute blast, wanting to do it again this year and additional NASCAR Teams wanting to participate as well.
Hopefully they don't forget where they came from and Bruce and I can participate again this year butu we'll just have to wait it out and see. They did say they wanted us back.
