Movin’ Out Brings 24 Billy Joel Classics To Electrifying New Life

Tickets are on Sale Now at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center

(Salisbury, MD) Movin’ Out, declared by Time Magazine as “The #1 show of the year!” is coming to the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center. Tickets for the Wednesday, March 25 performance are on sale now and start at just $35 plus fees.

Five-time Grammy winner Billy Joel and legendary director/choreographer Twyla Tharp have joined forces to create the spectacular new musical. Movin’ Out tells the story of five life-long friends over two turbulent decades, adding up to one unforgettable Broadway musical. The New York Times call Movin’ out “a shimmering portrait of an American generation. These tornado driven dancers and rock musicians propel the audience into delirious ovations.”

Movin’ Out is part of the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center’s inaugural Broadway in Salisbury season. The season concludes in April with single-night performances of Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy and Lord of the Dance.

For more information or to purchase tickets visit the Box Office (open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm), call 410-548-4911 or go to www.WicomicoCivicCenter.org.

I'm not a big Billy Joel fan but he has written some timeless classics that will live on forever. This is great for Salisbury and Wicomico County. I would go just to support it.

My God, if we can turn that Civic Center into a money maker or even a break even in this economy will be a giant leap for mankind here in this area.

Imagine not having to subsidize the Civic Center and put that money back into our schools!

I would encourage people not to go as he held concerts to support our current muslim head of state.

So I shouldn't go see Fernando fight tomorrow night because he might have voted for Obama? You are an IDIOT!

P.T. Barnum was WRONG, there is more than one sucker born every minute.

I don't care if Fernando voted for Bush another fours years. I'm going to see the fight

9:39. Here is a lovely biscuit for YOU; and also one FOR THE HORSE YOU RODE IN ON!! This is not only a good gig for the 'Bury area as is; but try to see Mr. Joel, and if you are lucky Sir Elton with him, before the sands of time strip us away from more live musical geniuseses{es}...And 9:39-I find your lack of faith DISTURBING!!!
