Obamacare Website Quietly Deletes Reference To 'Free Health Care'
Even as President Obama and his administration are making a last minute push to encourage enrollment in Obamacare, a quiet change was made on the Healthcare.gov website regarding those who will still not be able to afford coverage after the program kicks in. From at least June 26, 2013 to as recently as September 15, under the topic, "Where can I get free or low-cost care in my community?" the following statement appeared: "If you can't afford any health plan, you can get free or low-cost health and dental care at a nearby community health center." Here is how the page in question appeared:
Obamacare Forum Raises Questions About Oct. 1 Small Business Deadline
William Farmer, a Navy veteran with a cyber security business based in Hanover, took diligent notes and asked direct questions while attending a health care forum for small businesses last month in Laurel. The forum was designed to help small business owners better understand new laws soon to set in under Obamacare.
While small businesses are not required under the new health care law to offer health insurance to their employees, they are required to notify all employees about the new health insurance marketplace available in their state by Oct. 1.
A majority of Farmer’s employees live in Virginia and Washington, D.C., and he needed to know if he was also supposed to include information about the health insurance marketplaces where his employees reside.

David R. Craig On Health Insurance Exchange / Government Shutdown
Harford County Executive and Maryland candidate for Governor David Craig released the following statement today:
“The Affordable Care Act has become a flash point in Congressional negotiations to continue government operations and for good reason. The unpleasant surprise with this law is that it’s not really affordable at all. Maryland's least expensive Obamacare plan will be 83% higher than the lowest-cost plan sold in the state this year.
“People are struggling with the worst economic recovery in our lifetimes, have faced down record tax, fee and toll increases, and now they are forced to pay 83% higher insurance costs. This is a massive health care tax politicians are attempting to brand as something else, and they are forcing people to buy it."

MD Health Officials Say They Are Ready For Healthcare
Maryland health officials on Monday expressed confidence the state was ready to open its new health insurance marketplace and address problems that could arise with the large undertaking.
Becca Pearce, executive director of Maryland Health Benefit Exchange, said that while temporary setbacks relating to the online marketplace are anticipated, she's confident the state is ready to handle them.
"We are fully poised and ready to be paying attention to exactly what those issues are," Pearce said, noting problems could entail a computer server that goes down or connectivity issues. "We have a command center that's going to be up and running from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the next several weeks to make sure that as things come up we are ready to respond to them as quickly as possible."

CONTROVERSIAL HOMELAND SECURITY ADVISER DEFENDS USE OF MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD-ASSOCIATED ICON ON HIS TWITTER PROFILE
An adviser to the Department of Homeland Security — who was recently promoted — is defending his use of the controversial “R4BIA” four-finger salute symbol associated with the Muslim Brotherhood as decor on his Twitter profile, a choice that elicited criticism on Sunday on the social media site and from one Israeli blog.
Mohamed Elibiary, one of 28 members of the Homeland Security Advisory Council, insists the symbol is “bigger than” the Muslim Brotherhood and that to him it means “Freedom4All.” In hisTwitter profile, Elibiary describes himself as not only associated with Homeland Security but also as a “proud American” who “hearts” Egypt.

Chesapeake Ghost Walk Series Just In Time For Halloween
Author of Haunted Eastern Shore Leads 12 Walks on Maryland's Eastern Shore
MARION STATION, MD (October 1, 2013) – The elusive Eastern Shore of Maryland is an amazing place to visit in October with such famous ghosts as Big Lizz, Wish Sheppard, William Aydelotte of the Snow Hill Inn and Patty Cannon. This month, Mindie Burgoyne, author of Haunted Eastern Shore: Ghostly Tales from East of the Chesapeake will lead ghost walks through 8 historic towns on the Shore as part of her Chesapeake Ghost Walk series. The eight walks in October will feature scary tales associated with over 60 sites in 5 counties. One of those sites is Burgoyne’s own haunted house – and on that tour, the guests are invited inside for a personal experience.
The October ghost walks include Denton, Easton, Cambridge, Pocomoke, Princess Anne, Marion Station, Snow Hill and Ocean City, (which is scheduled twice). With each tour guests traverse about 1.5 miles on foot while Burgoyne points out places along the way associated with hauntings. She’ll share the history of the place, who lived there, what strange thing occurred and what people say today about haunted activity. By the end of the tour each guest has gained a loose history of the town and many of its famous – or infamous residents which include doctors, farmers, artists, congressmen, governors, African slaves, merchants, sailors, sea captains, widows and children.
“When I craft each walk I try to do so in a way that tells the story of the whole town so that the characters I talk about are placed in a related setting” Burgoyne states. “All haunted stories begin to sound alike after awhile unless you differentiate one from the next by defining the ghostly characters in the context of their time and space – then link that defined character to how people are experiencing its presence in this world – in our time.”
Burgoyne collects her ghostly tales from various sources that include local libraries, regional books, newspaper articles, the folklore collection at the Nabb Research Center at Salisbury University and through personal interviews. After collecting the tales she researches the town history, and then crafts a tour that tells a larger story that connects the individual sites with the town identity. She’ll also mention stories of haunted places near the town that are too far out for the walking tour. In these cases she’ll often provides guests with a map so they can seek out the sites on their own after the tour. All the ghost walks (except Ocean City) include a night-time walk through a graveyard. Since Ocean City has no graveyard, Burgoyne recounts the tale of Captain’s Hill – the one lone marked grave in Ocean City.
When asked to identify her favorite tour of the dozen she’s crafted, Burgoyne stated “Definitely Ocean City. It was the most difficult to put together because it’s not an old town like the rest of the ones in the series. But it has a powerful haunted history – more than most would suspect” Burgoyne says. “Second would be my own hometown of Marion Station because my house is on the tour. The crazy occurrences there are what got me started writing about ghosts. Within a month after moving in we felt like we were living in Amityville.”
Berlin, Crisfield, St. Michaels and Salisbury ghost walks are scheduled for November and December. Guests pay $15 to attend a ghost walk ($9 for kids 8-12), and the Chesapeake Ghost Walk website suggests lodging accommodations and local sites of interest for those who want to travel in from out-of-town.

What The Ted Cruz Filibuster Really Means – It’s the End Of The GOP As We Know It
There is a tide in the affairs of men, which taken at the flood, leads on to fortune. Omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and in miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat. And we must take the current when it serves, or lose our ventures.
- Brutus in William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar
A misguided, decrepit, corrupt, warmongering, and surveillance-happy Republican Party was already stumbling around the room; hammered drunk on its decades old power trip, led by mindless cronies with zero direction when Ted Cruz came by and gave it a charitable push to the ground. It fell swiftly with a pathetic thud. The establishment Republican Party died this week. Good riddance.

Maryland Awarded Grant Promoting The Readiness Of Minors In Supplemental Security Income (PROMISE)
State receives $31 million five-year grant from the U.S. Department of Education
ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Martin O’Malley today Maryland was selected to receive $31 million as part of U.S. Department of Education grant Promoting Readiness of Minors in Supplemental Security Income (PROMISE), an opportunity for states to improve the education and career outcomes of youth with disabilities receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
“In Maryland, we have been guided by the principle that there is no such thing as a spare Marylander,” said Governor Martin O’Malley. “As part of this commitment to being more effective in supporting child SSI recipients who continue to face challenges as adults, we are committed to ensuring that all of our economic development and workforce creation initiatives include opportunities for individuals with disabilities.”
The U.S. Department of Education PROMISE initiative is intended to improve the provision and coordination of services for child SSI recipients and their families. The services will help child recipients achieve better outcomes; including graduating from high school ready for college and a career, completing postsecondary education and job training, and obtaining competitive employment in an integrated setting. As a result, these child SSI recipients can achieve long-term reductions in reliance on SSI.
"All children deserve a chance to achieve their educational and career goals," said U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. The PROMISE initiative provides services and support to help our most at-risk students and their families so that they can focus on their education and a brighter future."
Maryland is working to create new pathways to the workforce for populations that have traditionally faced barriers to employment. Maryland PROMISE, a partnership of state agencies and private sector disability organizations, will address the challenges faced by youth who, by virtue of SSI eligibility, are deemed to have a severe disability and be members of low-income families.
“We are thrilled to receive the PROMISE grant from the U.S. Department of Education. With PROMISE, we hope to achieve better outcomes for child SSI recipients and their families," said Maryland Department of Disabilities Secretary Catherine A. Raggio. "This grants spans five years and will provide enhanced supports and services to 1,000 Maryland youth with disabilities. It will allow us to continue our leadership role in ensuring that all of our youth, including those receiving SSI benefits, are prepared to enter the 21st century workforce.”

CDC Director Arrested For Child Molestation And Bestiality
Dr. Kimberly Quinlan Lindsey, a top official with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has been arrested and charged with two counts of child molestation and one count of bestiality.
Dr. Lindsey, who joined the CDC in 1999, is currently the deputy director for the Laboratory Science Policy and Practice Program Office. She’s second in command of the program office.
Prior to that role, she was the senior health scientist in the Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response, an office that oversees the allocation process for $1.5 billion in terrorism preparedness.
Atlanta (CNN) – An official with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has been arrested and charged with two counts of child molestation and one count of bestiality, police said.
Police arrested Dr. Kimberly Quinlan Lindsey, 44, in DeKalb County, Georgia, on Sunday.
Authorities also charged Lindsey’s live-in boyfriend, Thomas Joseph Westerman, 42, with two counts of child molestation.
The two are accused of “immoral and indecent” sexual acts involving a 6-year-old, according to information from DeKalb County Magistrate Court and an arrest warrant.
The bestiality charge says Lindsey “did unlawfully perform or submit to any sexual act with an animal.”
The alleged incidents took place between January 1, 2010, and August 22, 2011.
Westerman is out of jail on bail; Lindsey remains in jail with bail set at $20,000, said Lt. Pam Kunz of the DeKalb County Police Department.

Maryland Department Of Agriculture Public Briefing At Wicomico Youth & Civic Center October 8
SALISBURY, Md. - The Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) will hold a public briefing at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m. During this briefing, the MDA will explain the Phosphorus Management Tool regulations and the process by which they are developed and revised, outline resources available to farmers to help manage the impact of the newly placed regulations and answer any questions or concerns that the public may have.
On Sept. 5, the MDA concluded the discussion with key stakeholders about the Phosphorus Management Tool (PMT), bringing clarity to how it works and how it can be applied. Therefore, the MDA has agreed to hold briefings to inform famers of the new process prior to the 30-day public comment period.
“We appreciate the input we received from the agricultural and environmental representatives who met with us and we believe that the revised proposal addresses their concerns,” said Secretary Buddy Hance. “The O’Malley Administration remains committed to implementing the new tool in a way that is responsive to various stakeholder concerns while also ensuring our farmers have the technical and financial resources they need to comply with new regulations.”
The PMT will replace the Phosphorus Site Index, identifying areas where excess phosphorus is present in the soil and where a high potential phosphorus loss exists, also allowing farmers to evaluate management options that can reduce the risk of phosphorus losses from agricultural fields to nearby waterways. The PMT will be included in the Maryland Nutrient Management Manual and incorporated by reference into COMAR 15.20.08.
MDA will meet with key stakeholders regularly to address any issues that arise from the implementation of the regulations. For more information, the Maryland Department of Agriculture is on Twitter @MdAgDept and Facebook atwww.facebook.com/MdAgDept.

PRMC Employee Commits Suicide
An employee of PRMC who had been employed with PRMC committed suicide last Friday. It's been reported she had allegedly been let go after 30 years of what some have said very dedicated service. I had been told she worked at AGH and PRMC and the 30 years was a span of both combined jobs.
This employee had been on Family Medical Leave for some time but had also had some serious personal issues as well. While many at PRMC are upset at PRMC for allegedly letting her go on Friday, I had learned there was much more to this story on a personal level and quite frankly I'd ask those employees keep an open mind.
While I will respectfully not get into those details, I'd simply ask them to not hold PRMC to blame. I'm sure, (if true) if she were fired it could have easily added to what had already been an ongoing issue. I had been asked to publish this information and have done so. However, after hearing the details I will strongly suggest every one chill out on this one because there truly is a lot more to this story.
We're sorry for your loss.

The Big-Picture Economy, Part 5: The State, Taxes And The Shredding Social Contract
The social contract is fraying as those paying most of the income taxes are being squeezed from above and below.
The government--known as the state in political science circles--is fundamentally a social contract between the governed and the governing Elites. The governed agree to cede control and power to the state, and pay taxes for its maintenance and programs, in exchange for security and services that can best be rendered (or can only be rendered) by the state.
These traditionally include law enforcement, a judicial system, national defense, and since the early 20th century, education and social income-security programs.
I have long held that America is a The Three-and-a-Half Class Society [9] (October 22, 2012): the "entrenched incumbents" on top (the "half class"), the high-earners who pay most of the taxes (the first class), the working poor who pay Social Security payroll taxes (the second class), and State dependents who pay no payroll or income taxes (the third class).
This class structure has political ramifications. In effect, those paying most of the tax are in a pressure cooker: the lid is sealed by the "entrenched incumbents" on top, and the fire beneath is the state's insatiable need for more tax revenues to support the entrenched incumbents and its growing army of dependents.
Let's start our analysis of the three-and-a-half-class society by noting that the top 25% pay most of the Federal income tax, and within that "middle class" the top 10% pay the lion's share of all taxes.

Authorities determined that the “unidentifiable object” was a stack of fraudulent identification cards. The cards included multiple New York State driver’s licenses and credit cards in different names.

Judge Slaps CIA For Withholding Routine Documents
A federal judge has chastised the CIA for “inappropriately” withholding routine documents.
In a recent decision, U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell denounced several of the CIA’s legal arguments. At one point, she accused the CIA of a “shameless twisting of the factual record.” Other assertions by the agency, she called “dead wrong” and “implausible.”
A non-profit law firm that specializes in national security cases sued the CIA and five other federal agencies over documents concerning compliance with open records laws.
Sounds straightforward. But the firm, known as National Security Counselors, said the CIA dodged its responsibilities under the Freedom of Information Act and mounted “an extended campaign of misrepresentation” related to information it holds.
At one point, an “unidentified third party” handed the firm two classified documents related to the lawsuit, prompting the FBI to confiscate them. Eventually, the CIA provided redacted versions.
The CIA, meanwhile, asserted it could keep secret the records being sought by the firm under a Cold War-era law that created the spy agency and allowed it to withhold personnel information such as salaries and the number of employees.
Howell, who is a federal judge in Washington, D.C., dismissed that argument.

10 Lessons #MakeDCListen Taught Us
The ruling class is losing its cotton-picking minds, because it’s getting a long-overdue comeuppance from their employers they thought all along were really their subjects.
Whether it’s because of our nixing of their plans for another pointless Middle Eastern war, or our insistence they not foist Obamacare’s epic fail upon us while exempting themselves from it, the resulting ruling class conniption fits are coming fast and furious.
When even a few stand on principle it reveals the character of everyone else around them. And if the Obamacare filibuster begun by Ted Cruz and capably aided and abetted by Mike Lee (with others chipping in) ends up accomplishing nothing else, it has provided a searing spotlight on the character (or lack thereof) of their contemporaries and the system they’re fighting.
Here are 10 things that searing spotlight has revealed:
1. When the best liberals on Twitter can come up with to criticize Cruz’s marathon is the mocking of his reading bedtime stories to his daughters that means he probably won the argument.
2. Watching Dick Durbin volunteer to get annihilated by Cruz answers the age old question “why do bugs willingly impale themselves on our windshields?”

This Guy Was Browsing Google Street View. And He Found Something He’ll Never Forget.
If you have ever used Google Maps Street view, you know it’s fun to go through cities (both known and unknown) and see what was going on at the time the picture was taken. Sometimes, you’ll get a surprise, just like this young man did:
Normally when I am bored I like to browse the google street views around Oregon. Well recently I was contacted by my younger brother who happen to be doing the same thing last night. While he was checking out a few places, he happen to look at my grandmas house. Its really rare you ever see someone you know captured in the google camera. But, there was my grandma sitting on her front porch reading her news paper enjoying life.

Couple in Baby Veronica Case Want Legal Fee Help
The adoptive parents at the center of the custody battle over baby Veronica are asking that the child's biological father and the Cherokee Nation pay the couple's legal expenses.
The long custody battle between Matt and Melanie Capobianco, and Veronica's birth father, Dustin Brown, centered around the Indian Child Welfare Act and raged on for more than two years before finally coming to a tentative close earlier this week when Veronica was returned to the Capobianco's care.
According to the Tulsa World, the Capobiancos filed court documents accusing Brown of "willful disobedience and complete disregard" of the law and seeking compensation for the legal fees and other expenses from Brown and the Cherokee nation.

Confederate Battle Flag Rises In Va. Off I-95
CHESTER, Va. (AP) -- A Confederate battle flag was unfurled along a stretch of Interstate 95 south of Richmond amid cheers and a volley of rifle fire.
The flag-raising Saturday in Chesterfield County had stirred a strong response in Richmond, the former capital of the Confederacy. But no protesters could be seen as more than 200 people gathered in a freshly cleared circle of forest to watch the 15-by-20-foot flag rise up a flagpole.

Giving Cruz His Due
Liberals are passionate in their scorn for him — which tells you how worried they are.
A spat has broken out over whether the media demonstrated liberal bias in their coverage of Senator Ted Cruz’s marathon anti-Obamacare speech. Conservatives are contrasting the heckling and slurs leveled against Cruz with the overwhelmingly positive reaction won by his fellow Texan Wendy Davis for her ultimately unsuccessful filibuster of a bill in the Texas state senate restricting abortions performed after 20 weeks.
Liberals who reject the bias charge make two main points. First, they say, the most negative commentary against Cruz came from opinion writers, not news reporters. Second, they add, Davis’s 13-hour physically grueling feat constituted a genuine filibuster while Cruz’s semi-orchestrated effort wasn’t a bona fide attempt to derail Obamacare.

Troopers responded to the Oasis Travel Plaza located at 30759 Sussex Highway near Laurel around 1:50 a.m. Saturday morning after a black male subject entered the store and confronted a 31 year old female employee demanding money from the cash register. Generator Starts Fire Under Bay Bridge Deck
Authorities say a power generator under the deck of Chesapeake Bay Bridge's westbound span sparked a fire that closed the bridge, backing up traffic for miles.
Lt. Shannon Callahan, Queen Anne's County Department of Emergency Services dispatch supervisor, says the generator was in a construction zone in the bridge's under-structure when the fire started Sunday evening.
Maryland Transportation Authority police Sgt. Jonathan Green says the fire closed the span for about two hours and vehicles stopped on the bridge were backed off.

OBAMA AND THUGS PULLED OFF THE HEIST OF THE CENTURY
It is increasingly clear that the 2012 elections, both presidential and senate, were stolen by Obama, the Democratic Party, the IRS, and government employee unions. It’s right out of a mob movie like “The Godfather.”
The Obama Crime Family could give the mob lessons. Don Obama plays for keeps. The Don gets what he wants and when he found himself in danger of losing his power and control, Obama went to his enforcers – the IRS.
In a story reminiscent of the mob fixing union elections, the IRS enforcers conspired to destroy Don Obama’s main competition – the Tea Parties and other conservative fundraising groups.
Lois Lerner was only one of many IRS big shots in DC who gave orders to IRS offices across the U.S. to “kill” the Tea Parties and other conservative groups. Their goal – steal the election. As if only days ago, the “fall gal” retired from the IRS. We can only guess what kind of massive payoff she received from Obama’s donors.
The 2010 elections were the biggest embarrassment suffered by a U.S. President in modern history. The power, energy and passion of the Tea Party won the GOP an amazing 63 House seats, six Senate seats, six Governorships, and 680 seats in state legislatures. It was an historic landslide. Obama’s entire agenda was threatened.
Yet, the mainstream media expects us to believe that only two years later (2012) that Tea Party energy and passion was gone…overnight. Or, perhaps they changed back to fans of Obama and the Democratic Party. What a fairytale.

Little Miss Hispanic Winner Loses Title In Del.
WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) -- The winner of the Little Miss Hispanic Delaware contest has been stripped of her crown over concerns that she is not Hispanic.
The News Journal of Wilmington reported Saturday that 7-year-old Jakiya McKoy lost the title two weeks ago.
Some critics of the decision say the move was made because McKoy is black and not Latina enough, though organizers say it had nothing to do with race.

Some critics of the decision say the move was made because McKoy is black and not Latina enough, though organizers say it had nothing to do with race.

NEW U.S. MAYOR SETS SIGHTS ON 'BLACK NATION'
Republic of New Afrika leader now guiding capital city's direction
Voters in Jackson, Miss., a mid-sized city in the heart of the Deep South, have picked a Democrat as their mayor. What’s different about this individual is that he is a former leader of the Republic of New Afrika, a group dedicated to creating an independent black nation out of five southern states.
Now leading the city of about 175,000 is Chokwe Lumumba – who has a long history of radical activism and whose plans for the largest city in Mississippi could be called “revolutionary.”
A co-founder of the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement, which promotes black “self-determination,” Lumumba was sworn in on July 1, after winning 86 percent of the vote in the general election.
He had won the Democrat nomination with 54 percent of the vote.
Despite what could be considered an overpowering victory, Jackson’s business owners are extremely concerned with Lumumba’s proposals for the city.

Radio Host Advocates Murder Of Ted Cruz, Mike Lee
In the characteristically compassionate, accepting tone of a modern leftist broadcaster, radio host Mike Malloy recently fantasized about the stabbing death of U.S. Senators Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Mike Lee (R-Utah).
On the heels of a 21-hour marathon speech criticizing ObamaCare, the Tea Party-backed politician has been on the receiving end of significant vitriol — even by members of his own party. Malloy, however, took that rhetoric to a new, disturbing level by volunteering a weapon to be used against Cruz.
Commenting on a conservative broadcaster’s opinion that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell “stabbed Ted Cruz and Mike Lee in the back,” Malloy found it easy to transition from hyperbole to reality.
“Oh, what if that were true?” he queried, telling McConnell he would be a willing participant.
“Mitch, I tell you what, I’ll make you a deal! I’ll provide the butcher knife,” he shouted.

Bridgeville, DE- The Delaware State Police have arrested a Lincoln man after he struck a horse with his motorcycle and then fled the scene.
The incident occurred around 6:50 p.m. Sunday evening as Michele A. Rose, 40 of Bridgeville, was riding her 16 year old quarter horse named “Chance” south on Chaplains Chapel Road when she was attempting to cross the roadway to enter a field on the east side of the road. After checking the roadway to ensure it was clear, Ms. Rose and “Chance” entered into the roadway when the sound of a fast approaching motorcycle startled the horse causing it to remain in the roadway. The motorcycle, which was also traveling southbound on Chaplains Chapel Road, applied its brakes and slid on the roadway before striking the horse on the right side.
After gaining control of the horse, Ms. Rose ran to the motorcyclist who appeared injured and attempted to render first aid. The motorcyclist refused any treatment and proceeded to get on his motorcycle and flee south on Chaplains Chapel Road. Ms. Rose was able to provide a description of the black male operator, who was not wearing a helmet, along with a description of the motorcycle to dispatchers in the Sussex County Emergency Operations Center (9-1-1).
At approximately 7:05 p.m. an officer with Georgetown Police Department observed what appeared to be the motorcycle and operator at the intersection of DuPont Boulevard (US113) and Seashore Highway (SR404/18). As the officers attempted to perform a traffic stop on the motorcycle, it began fleeing northbound on US113. Additional officers and troopers began pursuing the motorcyclist who was, at times, traveling at speeds greater than 100 mph before a Delaware State Police helicopter (Trooper 2) was able to track the fleeing motorcycle throughout the towns of Lincoln and Milford. Around 7:45 p.m. Trooper 2 advised ground patrols that the motorcyclist was slowing to a stop in the area of Benson Road near Jefferson Road. Troopers were able to converge on the area and after a brief struggle with the fleeing suspect, who ran into a soy bean field, he was taken into custody without further incident.
Roosevelt S. Williams, 34 of Lincoln, was found to be in possession of 3.2 grams of synthetic marijuana upon his arrest. He was transported to Troop 7 where he was charged with over 70 traffic violations including Reckless Driving, Aggressive Driving, Disregarding a Police Officers Signal, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was arraigned at JP3 and committed to SCI in lieu of $13,950.00 cash bond. Williams was checked by EMS at Troop 7 and refused any medical treatment.
Ms. Rose was slightly injured in the incident, but did not require any medical attention. “Chance” did not appear to be injured.

Classics For A Cause
Hi Mr. Albero,
I am a student at James M. Bennett High School. On November 16th, a friend and I will be giving a piano concert to benefit the SWAC Instrument Barn. The Instrument Barn gives instruments to young, low-income students who are interested in joining band or orchestra. I was wondering if you could help me publicize the event through your blog. I have attached a flyer with information about the event below. Anything you could do to assist us in making the event public would be very much appreciated.
Thank you

Foster-care officials declare parents with traditional values unacceptable
A video has been uncovered of Massachusetts officials promising to weed out foster parents with conservative values who would only “tolerate” a youth’s gender confusion and not endorse it.
The video was featured by political activist Amy Contrada, who researches family issues through the non-profit Massachusetts-based group Mass Resistance organization.

Did Putin Quietly Play The Debt Card Over Syria?
"They are living beyond their means and shifting a part of the weight of their problems to the world economy. They are living like parasites off the global economy and their monopoly of the dollar. If [in America] there is a systemic malfunction, this will affect everyone. Countries like Russia and China hold a significant part of their reserves in American securities. There should be other reserve currencies." – Vladimir Putin in 2011
While I hate to give such praise to a foreign leader, Putin has undoubtedly run rings around the moribund and bureaucratic incompetence of the Laurel and Hardy-styleObama and Kerry team on Syria. Putin diplomatically has the swiftness and stealth of the South's Stonewall Jackson and Germany's Erwin Rommel, probably the two greatest military commanders in world history.

THIS IS WHAT AL QAEDA HAS TO SAY ABOUT FRIENDSHIP WITH NON-MUSLIMS
In a lecture posted online, Al Qaeda offers advice on friendship in which it asserts that Muslims should never become friends with non-Muslims, who are considered to be a perpetual enemy.
“Enmity towards infidels is a must,” says Abdul Samad, a militant Pakistani cleric in an audio lecture posted on jihadi online forums by Al Qaeda broadcaster Al-Sahab.
The lecture, “Standards of Friendship and Enmity in Islam,” focuses on Islamic rules for relationships with non-Muslims, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) which translated an excerpt.

Race Is On For Md. Governor — Establishment Brown vs. Outsider Gansler?
Now the race for Maryland governor starts for real. The two main contenders are in the ring for what promises to be an aggressive contest race that has no precedent in Maryland history. What makes the 2014 gubernatorial election so unusual is the timing.
Rather than holding the primary in September as is traditional, this one takes place June 24. That early date will cut down substantially on turnout, play havoc with fundraising and compress the full fury of the campaign into about 80 days once the General Assembly ends its session on April 7.

Iran President’s Car Pelted With Eggs, Shoes
Hundreds of Iranians cheered President Hassan Rouhani on his return from New York on Saturday after his historic phone call with U.S. President Barack Obama but a smaller number of hardliners shouted “Death to America” and threw eggs and shoes at his official car leaving the airport, Iranian media reported.
While an anticipated handshake between Rouhani and Obama at United Nations headquarters failed to materialize, they held a 15-minute call on Friday at the end of the moderate new Iranian president’s trip for the U.N. General Assembly.
Iranian media said hundreds of Rouhani supporters keen to see him make good on pledges of “constructive interaction” with the world to ease Iran’s international isolation and get punitive sanctions lifted turned up to hail his U.N. visit.
