Wonder why the MD courts are so lenient? The judges are chosen, and owe their jobs to, a list of defense attorneys. They are led by the king of defense attorneys. This is one of the reasons criminals have no fear in MD.
I wonder if a former prosecutor will be chosen for a judge position.
Jimmy Sarbanes as a judge? That's adorable. Hoping to ride the coattails of the family name I suppose?
Not a single name on this list shares my views.
Well, for the public's sake, I hate to see Barbara Trader and Anthenelli on that list. They are excellent lawyers and yet the rest of those bozo's are anything but judge material.
Kimberly Dumpson is so lazy why in the world would anyone want her to serve?
All of the candidates are fine attorneys and would make a good judge.
If little Jimmy the buffoon makes Judge, we are all in deep doodoo. What a clown! Why is his house sitting empty? Or did daddy buy him a new one?
It's so nice to people commenting on people they know nothing about, making disparaging remarks about people and issues they know nothing about, and casting aspersions and personal assaults on people they don't know, for a position they know nothing about. Oh, the modern world of online blogging - cloaking ignorance in anonymity.

As to the first comment above, your idea of our system being lenient on criminals has no basis in reality. But, in answer to your question, half the shore's judges were former prosecutors. I predict that current State's Attorney Matt Maciarello will run for judge in the near future and will be appointed; he's a good guy, a good attorney, and a fair public official in his role as State's Attorney.
