As members of Congress attempt to work out an agreement to avert a federal government shutdown on Tuesday, officials of the U.S. District Court in Maryland say the federal judiciary will remain open for business on Tuesday.
That means federal courthouses in Baltimore and Greenbelt would be open.
In a statement on the Court's website, officials say it would be "business as usual for approximately 10 business days."

Hopefully, the House of Representatives will now submit individual funding bills (CR's) for individual departments....except HHS (or wherever OweBlamacare resides)!
how is this possible. do you mean to tell me that even though the government is shut down it will still be open
Most people don't remember how little impact there was during the gov't "shutdown" during the Clinton years...military still gets paid, social security still goes out, they focus on the "poor child that can't get into the monument".

ESSENTIAL employee's and agencies with still be working. NON-ESSENTIAL employee's and agencies will not. Which is probably at least half of all employee's and agencies.
If we can do without them during a shutdown, we don't need them at all.
