Atlanta: ICU units are at 100% capacity: Any more patients can't be treated says Atlanta mayor

The Mayor of Atlanta, Keisha Lance Bottoms, has just confirmed that all of the cities ICU units are at 100% capacity, according to CBS's Shon Gables and Senior Executive Producer Phil Landeros. Any more patients that need critical care in the ICU specifically won't be able to get it.

Less than 24 hours ago, the mayor signed a 14-day Stay at Home Order for all its residents.

"Flattening the curve" hasn't worked yet. The daily death-rate in the U.S. increased on Monday to 140, from 111 the day prior.

As we've been hearing for days now from health experts from around the world, one of the biggest disasters of the fast spread of the coronavirus is not having enough medical resources for everyone at the same time. That means - if you can't breath and you need a ventilator at a hospital - you can't get one. If that's the case, you'll have more deaths than you would have had with a slow virus growth.

Trump keeps downplaying this as similar to "the flu"? Arguing the "cure" can't be worse than the problem?

This thing is JUST starting and Atlanta ICU is at 100%?

Trump has decided that his wealth is more important than human lives. People are going to die, people you know and love. Remember that when it's time to vote.

These democrat minority run cities are incapable of doing anything but stealing tax payer money. There are only 361 people in the whole State of Georgia hospitalized with the virus so how can a large city like Atlanta be out of ICU units. There is exaggeration here and poor planning by democrats as usual. Now after doing nothing for years they sit back, complain and wait for someone else to come to their rescue all the while blaming the people coming to bail them out for their poor decisions. Why doesn't Atlanta have more ICU units . The article never tells how many units are available because it would show the fault of the local gov. Is Atlanta a sanctuary city?

820am....Is a gov worker, a progressive marxist to be exact. Few gov workers can comprehend what its like to wonder where the next job or paycheck might come from....or when. Her lies are obvious. If someone believed death was eminent/soon, would they spend their last days spreading lies.

“Flattening the curve isn’t working” because just like our foolish MD governor, they’re doing too little too late with stay at home enforcement. Wondering if the sluggish responses are a symptom of TDS.

If Atlanta's hospitals are full, transport patients to other places using extreme caution
