An Illinois man who was “foaming at the mouth” yelled “corona” and deliberately coughed in a Chicago cop’s face when the officer responded to a car accident, authorities allege.
Anthony Ponzi, 21, was “highly agitated” when Chicago police responded to the scene of a crash Sunday in the city’s Rogers Park section, according to an arrest report obtained by the Chicago Tribune.
Ponzi then yelled “corona, OK” and coughed directly into an officer’s face as the cop tried to check the Wilmette man for signs of impairment, police said.
The officer “immediately felt particles of saliva/breath” on his face, according to the arrest report.

Only a week ago.
Didn't this guy go to prison a while back for some kind of money scheme?
Execute him.
It's Chicago. I'm surprised he doesn't have a broken nose and two black eyes. What a dope.
The police should have shot him right then and there. Self defense.
Oh, Tony, you make your Nanna sad.
He can use the Jessie Smollet defense, he was just kidding.
No wonder America is upside down. Every time some one gets arrested they claim mental illness. We have very few sane people left, I guess.
He was just singing “My Shirona”.
Should have handed the cop a Corona !!
