Just hours after the House Judiciary Committee said Monday it was postponing its contempt of Congress actions against Attorney General William P. Barr, another committee said it’ll take up the baton.
Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah E. Cummings (D-MD) said he’s frustrated that Mr. Barr and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross have both stymied his attempts to get documents about the 2020 census, and he feels he has no choice but to hold a contempt vote on Wednesday.
“I did not want this to happen,” Mr. Cummings said.

Cummings voted to impeach Trump for Russian conspiracy 2,5 years ago. The very first day the investigation.., 100 hrs was the pledge by Democrats if they take back congress to raise minimum wage 15 dollars. They have done nothing but hold fake hearings on non crimes. 40 MILLION DOLLARS SPENT.
Lets see. Cummings wants papers that he already has access to yet he hides papers that the ethic's committee wants on his wife's secret foundations money laundering. Sounds about right for a Socialist Democrat.
"“I did not want this to happen,” Mr. Cummings said."
Baloney.
A man like him, that abuses his power like that, is the reason people like him, shouldn't have power like that.
Democrats are not looking out for citizens just their own power and democrat voters should wake up to this.
Obama's AG Holder was held in contempt by the House. Big deal. No punishment, just political grandstanding by worthless members of Congress. Meaningless bickering between the Branches of Government.
Maybe the DOJ should look into his wife's greasy financial actions...
Contempt means absolutely nothing
How many times did republicans bring Obama’s people in to only get the 5th out of them.
What about his criminal wife, he should crawl in a hole and shut up!
