Woman is mauled to death by her own pit bull inside a Washington DC home

A woman from Washington DC lost her life on Sunday after being mauled by her own pet pit bull inside the family's home.

DC Fire and EMS responded to a home in the 1300 block of Dexter Terrace Southeast in our nation's capital shortly after 6.30pm for a report of a dog attack.

The victim, identified on Monday as 55-year-old Angela Smith, was taken to a hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries, but she was pronounced dead a short time later.

Better her than someone else if the dog was that violent should have been put down it could have mauled a child or innocent pedestrian.

Yes, 9:40. I agree. People tell me I am wrong but it happens so often. They can look like cute nice little pets until all of a sudden they turn on you. I do not trust pit bulls.

@ October 18, 2018 at 7:38 PM. Yep, and most thugs have them. Those dogs are worthless and very dangerous. They were bred for one reason and one reason only.
