COLUMBUS (WCMH) -- A report of two children carrying a gun led to a tense moment for an officer and two young men.
Body camera footage released by Columbus police shows Officer Peter Casuccio talking to two boys, ages 11 and 13 about carrying a realistic-looking BB gun while walking down the street.
"Do you think I want to shoot an 11-year-old? Do you think I want to shoot a 13-year-old? Do I honestly look like the kind of dude who wants to shoot anybody?" said Officer Casuccio.
Officer Casuccio talked to the boys about what could have happened in this situation before bringing them home to talk to their mother.

Good job officer, you have my respect and admiration.
Just shoot first and ask questions later. We shot lots of so called "Children" in Vietnam. If it looks like a gun, and he or she holds it like a gun, its a gun!
Isn't Ohio an open carry state??
How dare he act like a human being. Watch out for the outrage.
1 less future Perp.
Mama was hoping to win the lawsuit lottery
Not for 11 year olds, thought would be pretty obvious.
If the police didn't have such a punk ace reputation for shooting at anything for any reason (and JUSTIFYING it by claiming they were afraid(!)) it would be a story.
The fact that he DIDN'T kill them is what is amazing everyone.
That is a sad statement.
Exactly how many eleven year old kids have shot a cop anyway?
Are cops THAT afraid of f'ing KIDS???
PLEASE don't start saying a bullet from a kid's gun kills just as easy as one from an adult shooting a gun, at least before you answer the above question ---about how many 11 year old kids have shot a cop???
And we all know how deadly accurate 11 year old kids are with a .45, don't we???
The answer to the question??? None.
Why?
Because they always kill them first. Because they LIVE IN FEAR.
Bring it, you apologists.
