UPDATE: Pocomoke officials said Mayor Bruce Morrison came through surgery “better than expected.” Morrison reportedly suffered a brain aneurysm Wednesday morning and was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, then transferred to Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware.
Pocomoke Mayor Bruce Morrison underwent emergency surgery for a brain aneurysm on Wednesday after reportedly losing consciousness earlier that day.
Town officials said Morrison was rushed from his home by ambulance to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury at about 2:30 a.m.
Doctors at the hospital diagnosed Morrison with a brain aneurysm and attempted to have him helicoptered over to Baltimore for treatment, but heavy fog stymied the effort, town officials said.
At about 6:30 a.m., town officials said the decision was made to move the mayor by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware.
No further updates on the mayor’s condition were available Wednesday morning.

Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery!
Very telling that PRMC can't handle anything more serious than a papercut.
HHHHMMMM?? Best wishes to you Bruce Morrison, pray you pull through OK. Taylor I still hold hate in my heart for what you got away with
@5:53 I'm with you on that!! Little dickhead got away with vehicular manslaughter and didn't serve any jail time whatsoever
Prmc used to do this surgery. Way back when it was a real hospital.
PRMC is a little short on neuro services these days.

Best wishes prayers, he's lucky to be alive! My father passed away from one, he was only 54.
Big Deal! There are more important people hospitalized.
