Teen Charged With Murder After Killing Her 2-Pound Premature Baby. How Is This Different From Abortion?

On Friday, a premature newborn baby girl was thrown out of a second-story apartment window to her death in Omaha, Nebraska by her 16-year-old mother, soon after giving birth. Antonia Lopez, the now-deceased baby's mother, was arrested and charged with murder the following day.

The baby girl weighed only two pounds and was believed to be 27-28 weeks old at the time of her murder, according to the director of the neonatal intensive care unit at the Nebraska Medical Center, Dr. Ann Anderson-Berry. Murdering a baby inside a woman's womb at this stage, called a third-trimester abortion, is legal in 12 states and the District of Columbia.

According to the police statement, Lopez went into premature labor alone in her bedroom of the family apartment. After she gave birth to the child early that morning, she allegedly tossed the apparently unwanted life out of her second-story window. Lopez then posted "Who can do me a huge favor and has a car?" to Facebook at around 3:40 a.m.

No different. Murder is murder. Our society has grown numb to the horror of abortion. Remember when Roe vs. Wade was passed and abortions were illegal beyond 12 weeks? What happened?

Politics got involved. Power and money prevailed over human life. God was taken out of public life. The younger generation has placed themselves above others. And Hollywood hasn't helped by desensitizing minds with all the horror and violence displayed on tv and movie screens. All have contributed to the cold-hearted society we see today.

It was delivered. Breathing. Carried that long with plenty of time to abort. That the difference. Murder!
