A new poll finds Governor Larry Hogan's approval rating is growing among Marylanders.
The OpinionWorks Poll of 802 likely voters fives Hogan a 71-percent approval rating, compared to 63-percent for a similar poll released in late November.
The poll was conducted from August 18 to August 30, and has a margin of error of plus-or-minus 3.5%.
OpinionWorks President Steve Raabe tells WBAL NewsRadio 1090 that Hogan's distance from Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump has helped him with voters.

He won the election he won almost every district. Why would be need to win more voters. I'm not voting for him based on this.
Based on his rejection of Trump - looks like he might just want Democrats to win!
The popularity of a republican governor in Maryland certainly will increase once he comes out of the closet and demonstrates he is really a liberal. Do not need a poll for this!
This article basically states that its pointless to vote for Trump in Maryland. Its that narrative, "you're outnumbered why bother"
Hogan is no fool.
This is bs and another pro post for hogan but guess what it aint gonna work.
Now to get control of the legislature.
Why would distancing himself from Donald Trump help him? In my opinion, as a conservative Republican, it's a disgrace to not stand behind our Republican nominee. I like and respect Governor Hogan, but he is wrong on this one.
