What's the Delta side of a house? Why can't these people speak like the rest of us? It's either the front of the house, the back, the right side or the left. They probably have a fancy name for the roof, too.
Yes, it is the thing you put the wadder on and it's a ruff.
They have to make it sound important, like Obama did with HOPE and CHANGE, becasue he changed our way of living and now we need hope to survive it...
They have to make it sound fancy to show why they needed a 900k fire boat that sits in dry dock...
Looks to me the drive hit something else before the house... No way hitting a house head on, will cause that much damage to the whole side of the drive side of the truck... Was the drive drunk or a sleep?
That'll buff right out!
If you knew anything then you would know that "Hebron" fire department does not have a 900k fire boat. "Salisbury" Fire dept has a boat that sits at the dock.
Oh come on! You mean to tell me you Internet experts on the fire service don't know what the delta side means? I'm a little disappointed. I mean it's something I thought you Internet fire chiefs would know. Because I understand it.
For non Fire Department Mouth Runners
Glossary of Fire Department Terms Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta – these terms are used to designate the sides of a structure.
Generally speaking, the “alpha” side is the front of the structure, the “bravo” side is the
left side of the structure, “charlie” is the back of the structure and “delta” is the right side
of the structure

So why can't they speak English and say, "Front, left, back and right?" Are fire department people some kind of special species?
Geez people quit your complaining. Hebron is just about the only fire departments that takes the time to give a report. I appreciate knowing what is going on in the community! It's a shame the other fire departments don't do the same thing.
To sum: Alpha side of Chevy met Delta side of house. Score is House 1; Chevy 0. We're scrambling the chopper to get a better view; in the meantime buy furniture.
Nice of Hebron FD to issue public information reports, that's more than most do. But if the report is for the public then they should use terms the public understands.
