FREEHOLD, N.J. – Voters in New Jersey’s Freehold Borough twice rejected referendums to pay for $33 million in construction and other updates to accommodate the area’s growing student population.
Now state bureaucrats are over-riding their decisions.
In both September and December, Freehold residents voted down the measure aimed at expanding the “severely overcrowded” Park Avenue Elementary, Middle School, and Learning Center with 22 new classrooms, RT.com reports.
The proposal also would have funded a new gym and library at Park Avenue Elementary, as well as a cafeteria at the learning center.

From what I can gather- sounds as if the New Jersey Freehold Borough is being run by the Maryland Legislature - as this is the same action that the Maryland Legislature Delegates take against the hardworking taxpayers of Maryland.
Two 'peas in a pod' in my honest opinion.
There it is! You don't matter! Your voice dosent matter! Your votes don't matter! The government is going to do what it wants! Every aspect of the government is crooked!
I agree with 8:16 poster. What about the 6.5 million dollars that Baltimore gave the Freddy Gray family - (note: even before the trials of the - NOW - completely exonerated police officers). And who do you think will pay that tab? Yes the citizens of Baltimore, and, the Citizens of the State of Maryland. Watch out - because the taxes are going to be raised beyond the ability of its taxpaying base. We really do have BIG, BIG, problems here in Maryland!!!

I thought Republican Chris Christie was the Governor?
I told you that your vote didn't count, I told you the govt cares less about you or your safety and all the other cliche bull crap...
You people are just to stupid for this world... My vote counts, I have a choice blah blah blah...
Where's Gov. Christie? Oh I forgot, to busy trying to ride Trumps coat tails. I bet he would have made a good president though.
