It WAS NOT maintenance workers on the roof. It was a local Roofing Company.
As for the source of the fire, it WAS the Roofing Company's commercial vehicle UNDER the building that caused the fire.
Yes, it was very painful for me to watch the self proclaimed Delmarva's News Leader not knowing the facts behind a story that happened SEVEN hours ago.

I saw a comment somewhere about this fire. They were saying there was extensive damage because it has burned out the entire first floor. Someone had to tell them the first floor was actually for parking.
Ground floor was parking garage.

The first floor was burned out due to the wind blowing from the west and the fire blew up and back into the FIRST FLOOR UNITS.

Roofers are doing maintenance on the building, so they can technically be considered maintenance workers.
They report what is given them----so looks like
the blame is on the reporter who gave them the
information. For sure Steve & Paul weren't there!
So why didn't the sprinkler system put the fire out?
