Beware: These 10 Counties In Maryland Have The Most Sex Offenders
Sex offender registries are free and open to the public for viewing. We hear about sex offenders in the news on a daily basis, but have you ever actually looked up the data in your area? If not, you can check out this list of the top 10 counties in Maryland with the most sex offenders per 10,000 residents, pulled from HomeFacts.com. Keep in mind that the Maryland state average is 11, and all of the following counties rank above that number.

Yes. And I make sure my neighbors know who they are and where they live, as well. There's been a couple of them who've lived here briefly, but just one who has lived in the same place for years.

The post did not mention that the offenders in question are living among us.Of course WE know that,but the total number of offenders, factoring in those who are currently incarcerated paints a much bigger picture.Any # of those could be released at any moment,because they are being released daily.The judicial system apparently does not consider them dangerous enough to keep them locked up.

For shear total numbers I would put money that the countys NOT listed have far, far more people on those lists. And since most counties occupy roughly the same space you are far, far more likely to come across one in a place like Balitmore or PG County.

Also ask the states attorney and Barbara Duncan and our state leaders where the Maryland law regarding sex offenders rule distance from schools and churches doesn't apply in Salisbury. One child sex offender in Salisbury, who served time for his crime lives only feet from a church, in a Church Parsonage to be exact!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not Wicomico, it's the City of Salisbury.
Maybe the church could help the sex offender, tell that to the child that was raped at 12 years old, and the offender only served 4 years. And no he did not change his ways, nor did the church help him they just hid the facts from the congregation. There has been over twenty calls according the police report to the parsonage it is a matter of record. Why did you automatically go to the defense of the rapist rather than the child?
2:44 It is all of the county the majority are in the city it is the most populated. Keep in mind these two rural counties at the top do aggressive investigations and have special units that actually work these crimes. No it is not as easy as one may think to make the list. Salisbury is still in top ten most violent cities per capita. Multiple jails in the area and a great deal of unemployement. Plus dating your sister is just a crime. lol
