Celebrate Great American Smoke Out (GASO) on November 19, 2015

(Salisbury, MD) – Every year, on the third Thursday of November, smokers across the nation take part in the American Cancer Society Great American Smokeout. They may use the date to make a plan to quit, or plan in advance and then quit smoking that day. The Great American Smokeout event challenges people to stop using tobacco and helps people know about the many tools they can use to help them quit and stay quit.

The American Cancer Society started this event in the 1970’s and continues to encourage people to quit. Each year, the Great American Smokeout event draws attention to the deaths and chronic diseases caused by smoking. Because of anti-tobacco efforts, there have been significant landmarks in the areas of research and policy change.

Oh yeah, I'm going to put my health in their hands. It must be the water or something because there is a complete failure in the ability to use the english language or to proof read on the eastern shore. It's the gift that just keeps giving. From (form) the WCHD website: "MEDICATIONS provided at no cost
Nicotine Replacement Patches, Nicotine Lozenges, Chantix. (Medical Clearance From For Chantix:"

Hey folks I quit smoking 36/37 yrs. ago. No patches, no group meetings my oldest son was in the oven. That was all I needed. I used to smoke LUCKY STRIKE cigs. if anyone can remember them. Even today I can light a cig. and it has no effect on me. However I agree cold turkey is not for everyone and good luck for the ones trying to quit.

7:00 The go-getters bus was running a few minutes late today so you could have taken a couple minutes to look up the spelling of those big words you were attempting to use. No Cost to the residents/user.
